RULES AND REGULATIONS:

  1. Candidate must be of Filipino heritage andbetween the ages of 4-7 years old.
  2. Decision of the Judges is final and score are kept confidential.
  3. Candidate whose name is signed below gives permission to the Fil-Am Cultural Organization (FACO) to use her photographs, speeches, video, etc for publicity purposes and future pageant material. These become the property of the organization.
  4. Sponsor fees and registration fees are non-refundable.
  5. In consideration for being accepted as a candidate in this pageant, we, the parents, guardians of thecandidate named below, do hereby release the Fil-Am pageant directors and staff from all claims of damages directly or indirectly resulting from named candidate.
  6. There is a non-refundable $50.00 registration fee, solicitation/sell raffle tickets wherein recognition/award will be given for most tickets sold.
  7. Each Candidate will receive a Participation Trophy.
  8. Application form must be submitted by April 27, 2016.

  11. 1st Runner-Up------$100.00, Sash & Trophy
  12. 2nd Runner-Up------$50.00 Sash & Trophy

  15. Best Gown------Trophy
  16. Best Talent------Trophy
  17. Viewer’s Choice Award------Trophy + 20% of votes in cash value
  18. Most Popular Award------Trophy+ 20% of ticket sold in cash value

PAGEANT SYSTEM

This pageant is an excellent opportunity for Fil-Am girls, and young ladies to compete in the pageant world today. By participating in a strong, honest, and fair program. Candidates will be able to compete to seek after titles, awards, and other prizes throughout their pageantry journey.

  1. Helps in developing good grooming, poise, self-confidence, valuable communication skills and personality.
  2. Helps young girls and young ladies develop their talents and set goals.
  3. Aids in achieving dreams through competition, events, and appearances.
  4. Helps in developing character, confidence and sportsmanship.
  5. Provides an opportunity to develop lasting friendship among candidates and their families.
  6. Offers the youth today to become the leader of tomorrow.
  7. Focuses on affirming high standards, moral and honesty.

Competition requirement as follow

  1. Must be at least 25% Filipino heritage.
  2. Personal introduction- This is the time to let your excitement show out as you recite a brief intro about yourself to the judges.
  3. Talent- 3 minutes of your skill.
  4. Interview-Question and Answer – give you the chance on how you can prove yourself and perfect opportunity to make a positive impression, stand out and let your personality shine.

The pageant committee will work hard to maintain the integrity of this competition. It is the committee’s desire that every contestant walk away with good feeling about themselves as well. Only two young ladies will become Little Miss Fil-am and Pre-Teen Miss Fil-Am 2016, but it is our hope that all contestants will develop the desire to continue to participate in the pageant program.
