Abstract
Sustainable development and preservation of natural resources in Earth and its environment are currently being highlighted as a research focus of particular urgency, given the rapidly expanding needs of society. In order to advance our understanding it is needed to study the coupled physical, chemical, biological and geological processes acting continuously in the different segments of the Earth-System over the geological past. Over the years, numerous geophysical techniques have been proven necessary and effective for discovering mineral deposits, oil/gas deposits, and uncovering riddles related to deep earth for evolution of geological process associated with kinematics and dynamics with varying complexity. The seminar is convened with aim to discuss in-depth research in the field of basic as well as applied geophysics including novel technological development, advancement in interpretation technique, skilled management practices in exploration of mother Earth and its natural resources.
