Table S2. Analysis of posttranslational modification motifs in allergenic PME proteins.
The most representative and important posttranslational modifications were examined for the amino acid sequences of allergenic PME proteins from Olea europaea L., Salsola kali, Actinidia deliciosa, and Solanum lycopersicum. Functional and regulatory motifs included N-myristoylation, amidation, N-glycosilation, and phosphorylation by different protein kinases, i.e. caseine kinase I and II (CKI and II), Protein Kinase A (PKA), Protein Kinase C (PKC), Protein Kinase G (PKG), cyclin-dependent kinase 5 (Cdk5), cell division cycle 2 protein (cdc2), tyrosine-protein kinase Src, and P38 mitogen-activated protein kinases (p38MAPK).
