Marcos Ramírez married Jesús Aguilar.

They had six children, probably all born in Ojinaga:

  1. Juana María Ramírez born 1794
  2. Pablo José Ramírez born 1797
  3. María Maximiliana Bártola Ramírez born 1800.
  4. Irenéo Ramírez born 1802, died August 1870, married Dorotea Lugo May 15, 1823.

They had two children:

  1. Luis Ramírez born circa 1825 married Dominga Leyva October 11, 1847. (see below for their family).
  2. Juan Ramírez married Guadalupe Contreras November 24, 1859.

They had two children:

(1)Daughter Jesús Ramírez born 1863 and died the same year

(2)Daughter Praxedis Ramírez born in 1875. She married Filberto Vásquez February 1, 1892.

Irenéo Ramírez later married Elena Viscaino circa 1850. They had one son:

  1. Quirino Ramírez born in 1854, married Nemencía Caño September 9, 1874
  1. Eusebia Ramírez born in 1805, died in February 1876, married Antonio Gonzalez.

They had two children.

  1. Son Gabriel Gonzalez born 1846 married Germana Luján on August 10, 1869. They had 1 child:

(1)Barbara Gonzalez born 1876, married Tomas Madrid May 30, 1892

  1. Son Eulogio Ramírez born 1848 in Ojinaga married Hijinia Sartucho February 10, 1868.
  1. María Teresa Ramírez born 1807.

The Luis Ramírez Family

Luis Ramírez married Dominga Leyva October 11, 1847

They had 11 children:

  1. Eduardo Ramírez born circa 1848 in Mexico, died in 1867.
  2. Bernabe Ramírez born in 1849 in Ojinaga, Mexico, married Longina Acosta November 14, 1870. They had 4 children:
  1. Regina Ramírez born in Texas circa 1872
  2. Petra Ramírez born April 23, 1875 in Fort Stockton and died September 11, 1957.
  3. Alejandra Ramírez born circa 1877 in Fort Stockton.
  4. Felipe Ramírez born in Fort Stockton in 1880.
  1. Daughter Luciana Ramírez born in 1852 in Ojinaga married Marcelo Baiza November 28, 1873. They had 5 children:
  1. Rosa Baiza born in 1874 in Comanche, Texas, married Tomas Domínguez October 18, 1890. They had 4 children:

(2)Juana Domínguez born in 1904, probably in Terlingua.

(3)Rita Domínguez born March 22 1906, probably in Terlingua

(4)María Domínguez born June 5, 1910, probably in Terlingua.

  1. Pablo Baiza born 1876 married None Dodson.

They had eight children:

(1)Francisca Baiza born March 23, 1906, married Manuel García October 19, 1928.

(2)Adolfo Baiza born 1909 married Epitacia Muñíz August 25, 1925.

They had two children:

  1. Juliána Baiza born 1927 in Texas.
  2. Regina Baiza born 1928 in Texas.

(3)Carlos Baiza born 1909 married Ángela García October 19, 1928.

They had one child:

  1. Agustina Baiza born in Texas in 1929.

(4)Marcela Baiza was born in Texas 1910.

(5)Daughter Dolores “Lola” Baiza born 1913 in Texas.

(6)Pablo Baiza born February 7, 1914 in Castolón, Texas.

(7) Isidora Baiza born 1917 married Santos Villalba.

They had four children:

  1. José Villalba born May 17, 1936 in Brewster County.
  2. An unnamed son was born December 11, 1937. He died the same day.
  3. Jorge Villalba born May 29, 1949 in Brewster County.
  4. Son Santos “Blocker” Villalba, Jr.

  1. Braulia Baiza born in 1878 in Comanche, Texas, married Felicito Domínguez November 6, 1899.

They had seven children:

(2)Julián Domínguez born in Texas on January 9, 1901.

(3)Domingo Domínguez born on December 20, 1902 in Texas.

(4)Manuel Domínguez born in Texas on April 12, 1905.

(5)Eugenio Domínguez born in Texas on March 20, 1907.

(6)Marcela Domínguez born in Texas on April 9, 1909.

(7)Daughter Concepción Domínguez born in Terlingua December 8, 1910. Died in Del Rio April 20, 1967.

  1. Daughter Concepción Baiza born in 1880 married Tranquiliano Morales November 6, 1900.

They had five children.

(1)María Morales born April 17, 1903, married Pablo Ramírez “Chiquito” Chavarría circa 1932.

They had two children:

  1. Josefa Chavarría born in Brewster County July 26, 1935.
  2. Francisco “Frank” Chavarría born October 4, 1938 in Brewster County. He married Hortencia Salas. They had seven children.

(cc) Danny Chavarría.

(dd) Marissa Chavarría married Gilbert Singh.

(ee) Gracie Chavarría, twin of Gabriel. She married Eddie Terrazas.

(ff) Son Gabriel Chavarría, twin of Gracie, died in Martin, Texas July 20, 2007.

(gg) Teresa Chavarría married Cipriano Amaro.

(2)Florentino Morales born March 14, 1905, probably in the Terlingua area.

(3)Teresa Morales born May 23, 1907, probably in the Terlingua area.

(4)José Morales born September 18, 1909, probably in the Terlingua area.

(5)Adelina Morales born in Terlingua November 14, 1914, died September 19, 1971 in Big Spring, Texas.

  1. Candelario Baiza born 1884 in Texas. He married Albina Granado November 7, 1902. They had 4 children:

(1)Catalina Baiza born February 13, 1904.

(2)Valentín Baiza born May 21, 1907.

(3)María Matías Baiza born February 24, 1909.

(4)Luis Granado Baiza born September 7, 1928 in Texas, died December 26, 1976 in Fort Stockton.

  1. Pascuala Ramírez born in 1860 in Mexico married Carlos Acosta on December 14, 1884.
  2. Gabina Ramírez born in 1856 in Ojinaga married Espiridon Sánchez.

They had one child:

  1. María Del Carmen Sánchez born in 1876 married Pedro Ontiveros February 2, 1896.
  1. Juan Climaco Ramírez born in Mexico in 1857 married Petronila Licón.

They had four children:

  1. Juan Climaco Ramírez, Jr. His first wife was Diega Luján

They had one child:

(1)María Silverta Ramírez born December 31, 1908, died in Carlsbad, New Mexico, February 5, 1998. She married Andrés Carrasco.

Juan’s second wife was Simona Hinojos. They both died in Carlsbad, New Mexico and are buried there.

They had eight children:

(1)Julián Ramírez.

(2)Santiago Ramírez

(3)Cecilio Ramírez

(4)Martina Ramírez. Her married name was Lara.

(5)Soledad Ramírez. Her married name was Nabham.

(6)Epifania Ramírez. She married Zeke Hernández.

(7)Dominga Ramírez. She married Lorenzo Martinez.

(8)Petronila Ramírez. She married Felipe Cortez.

  1. Tomasita Ramírez.
  2. Andrea Ramírez.
  3. Josefina Ramírez.
  1. Donaciana Ramírez born May 24, 1859 in Mexico married Romaldo Chavarría (brother of Severiano Chavarría) on July 4, 1877. She died in Fort Stockton August 27, 1941 and is buried there.

They had three children.

  1. Carlota Chavarría married Francisco Hernández. They lived in the Terlingua area 1907-1910, but were living in Fort Stockton in 1920.

They had three children:

(1)Alberto Hernández was born July 12, 1907, died June 30, 1932 in Fort Stockton.

(2)Ignacia Hernández was born in 1908.

(3)Serapia Hernández born November 14, 1909, died August 25, 1920 in Fort Stockton.

  1. Eulalia Chavarría born in 1880 in Fort Stockton.
  2. Son Guadalupe Chavarría born December 12, 1895 in Mexico, died December 5, 1974 in Fort Stockton.
  1. Rita Ramírez born in 1861 in Presidio, Texas, married Severiano Chavarría on February 7, 1876 in Fort Stockton; died in Fort Stockton February 26, 1941

They had 18 children (See Chavarría Page for family details).

  1. Antonia Ramírez born 1862 in Presidio married Carlos Pando.

They had one child:

  1. Atilano Pando born 1874 married Marcelina Chavarría.

They had 11 children:

(1)José Pando born in La Coyota May 5, 1903.

(2)Carlos Pando born in La Coyota November 4, 1904.

(3)Alfonso Pando born in La Coyota January 23, 1906.

(4)Secundino Pando born in La Coyota July 1, 1908.

(5)Leonardo Pando born in Terlingua November 6, 1910, died in Brewster County December 22, 1978. He married Lorenza Garza.

They had one child: María Isabel G. Pando born November 2, 1944 in Brewster County.

(10)Félix Pando married Benita Urquides.

They had four children:

a.Félix Pando born in Alpine February 23, 1940, died June 4, 1940 in Alpine.

c.Elivorio Pando born in Alpine September 19, 1943, died in Midland, Texas June 6, 1968.

d.Félix Pando, Jr. born in Brewster County February 17, 1947.

  1. Francisca Ramírez born in 1871 in Presidio, Texas, married Teodoro Villa on February 6, 1886.
  2. Eduardo Ramírez born in 1876 married María Paz Domínguez.

They had five children:

  1. Ricarda Ramírez born on April 3, 1902.
  2. Martin Ramírez born January 30, 1904.
  3. Ignacia Ramírez born on February 1, 1906 in Texas.
  4. Daughter Balen Ramírez born on January 26, 1908.
  5. Silvestre Ramírez born on December 31, 1909, probably in the Terlingua area.
