In this video I'm just going to introduce you to the ways, and wherefores of Betfair. How it works? Well, quite simply, it's a betting exchange. You can still back a team to win in the traditional sense you can back that team to lose. Sounds a bit odd? That's called Laying.

Hint, that's what bookies used to do. By the end of this video, you'll know how to open account with Betfair, how to read the Betfair Markets. If you know pink and blue difference, that's it basically and how to locate a football and tennis markets on Betfair with because with D.R.T I do move into tennis during the summer month

Here's how to open an account on Betfair. To open an account on Betfair, well, quite simply Join Now, click on that. Follow the registration process, make sure you click English, U.K if you're in the U.K, change your account to G.B.P Sterling.

If you've got a Referral code from anybody who has a Betfair account, do make sure you ask them for that because you can get financial incentives. Once you've done that Agree and Open Account. Once your account is set up don't forget to deposit some cash in there. You can do that via any number of ways: debit card, credit card, bank transfer, et cetera.

If you thought that was easy, then let's look at how to read the Markets. Quite simply here is my quick checklist for you. Blue equals Back, Pink equals Lay, and that is it okay? You'll all that's come to fruition at the website. Now you know what the Blue means and now you know what the Pink means.

Let me take you to a high profile match which is on at the moment. We can click that on the Sports Highlights page in the Exchange do note that. We're focusing on the exchange because there is a Sportsbook as well. A Sportsbook is a traditional book making account. The exchange is what we're interested in. We've got out Back and we've got out Lay options here. Let me take you into more detail in the Match Odds Market. This is the Match Odds Markets.

Note these little bits here going in play, that's means it's market will be live while the match is being played. This odds will change in reaction to goals et cetera. This square here means you can cash out and here is the rules of the match, time it starts. This is the matched here. This shows you the liquidity. This is very liquid market. 2 and 1/2 million already.

This Blue is the best odds available to back the team currently. Lay is the lowest odds available to Lay a team with a draw currently. If you wanted to back Germany, give Germany's auto click, put in the stake you want to win.

Let's say I'm feeling a bit confident here, fancy Germany will win so I put in 100 quid and on your left here Betfair will tell you if Germany win you'll win 225.76 pounds. If Germany don't win you'll lose your 100 quid. Of course because this goes in play, we can trade. If Germany score an early goal, you can trade out at a guaranteed profit.

That's where the Cash Out facility comes in. In this section here I'd recommend you go out there, you read about Cash Out. What Cash Out does, it enables you to effectively sell you bet off early before the isn't match isn't finished, if you're in a profitable situation, or if you happen to find yourself in a losing position and you're losing confidence in you bet. You can get out early and hopefully get your to put your stake back.

Now I fancy being a Layer of Germany. This is what I'll do, click on the Pink, place your Backer's Stake, this is the amount I'd want to win but note there is a liability issue here. The liability changes with the odds. If Germany win, we will have to pay out 220 quid. If Germany lose we'll win our 100 quid minus commission.

There is another option for you Layers and that's to effectively control your risk. It's called Max Liability. Click on Liability here, put in the maximum amount you're willing to risk on this bet, click Okay, and Betfair we'll make sure that if you're Laying Germany, the most you lose in this respect we'll be a 100 pounds and if Germany lose, you'll win 42.50 pounds. That's an excellent facility to have.

We can deeper and deeper into the relationship between Backing and Laying, but that's not the purpose of this video. This is just an introduction to Betfair. Debt free we're going to be looking at how to locate football markets, Permanent D.R.T.

First we're going to look at the in play football markets using the search facility on Betfair. Then we're going to look at the main market and focus on D.R.T Football trading and then we're going a quick look at the tennis markets. Before I move to the primary markets, let me show you how to search for a football match. Let's say Aberdeen are playing today. I know they're playing, but we want to get to the market nice and quickly.

Use this search facility up here, I change that to Aberdeen and click on the magnifying glass and Betfair has produced its results for you. This is the match that I wanted to look at for the F.C Aberdeen but you have other option. You got Aberdeen St Johnstone on the 6th August, you got Scottish Premiership which Aberdeen are in, and you got the Europa league which Aberdeen are in. That's Betfair's search facility. Do use it especially in a heated battle when we need to find a team very quickly. That's how I find my team on Betfair. I have clicked on the follow F.C Aberdeen League and there we go. There is the match straight away.

Let' return our focus to these main markets, the D.R.T. There are so many markets, let's just focus on these 5 to start with although from at home perspective, I do use other markets as in when but these are the only important markets for D.R.T: Match Odds, Over and Under 2.5 goals, Half-time Score, Correct Score. Let's look at this specific match. As we're with Aberdeen, let's look at the Match Odds.

On this left hand column here, you'll see for every in-play match, a number of Markets. The first Market we'll be looking at is the Match Odd Market. With the Bookies you had 3 options only, that was the Back, the Home team, partly awaiting or by the draw. Of course with Betfair, you have 6 options. You can Back it this way, or you can Lay the home team which is the same as

Backing the away team in the draw. You can Lay the away team, which is the same as Backing the home team in the draw, or you could simply Lay the draw which is the same as Backing the home, or away teams.

The Great Score Market is great market I use on Betfair. I use it in 2 ways. Firstly, to back [0-0 00:07:26] pre match in certain matches where I think it'll be 0-0 at half term, you can trade out at half time, or to Lay the 0-0 of the second half if we expect a goals and it's 0-0 at half time. That's the main focus of the Great Score Market.

Again, on at home basis I will choose certain correct scores in certain matches and you'll be able to see them when we're involved in a live chat you'll see me do that.

Over and Under 2.5 goals is the main market I focus on from these Goals Markets. As also you can see there is number of other options. Again I use some of these others in specific matches, but over 2.5 goals is the general one I use. Quite simply, what it's saying is, "Do you think there will be less than 3 goals scored in this match or more than 3 goals scored in this match?" That's quite simply what his bet is. Laying under 2.5 goals is the same as Backing over 2.5 goals. Laying over 2.5 goals is the same as Backing under 2.5 goals.

A Half-time Score Market is a real niche market I like to use at certain football matches. The main score line we focus on is the 0-0 Lay. Quite simply what we're saying when I say, "Lay the 0-0 half-time score," is I expect there to be a goal before half time.

By delaying these Lay Odds will get out shorter, and shorter and shorter. Let's say we're coming to the 40th minute, and the odds have gone down to 2, you're liability as the layer reduces and you still win the same amount. That's why I love this 0-0, half-time score market. I also love it because we have statistics now which can back up our decision making.

A Half-time Market is the last niche market we use. Again I will tell you in a live chart whether to Back team or Lay a team coming up to half time. Before i go I'd just like to show the tennis markets as Wimbledon is on at the moment. I do look at tennis predominantly when the Majors are on.

Let me show you the tennis. These are the tennis markets. You've got the traditional Back and Lay for each player. You also got the Set betting market which you can Back a player to win 2-0 or you can a Back player to lose, not to win 2-0. Although you have many option and I do my tennis trading via Twitter so make sure you join .

In this video we've looked at how to open a Betfair account, how to read the markets quite simply, and where to locate a football and tennis markets. By now you should know how to look for a 40 year-old tennis match using the search facility, or using the football coupon and how to place a Back, or a Lay bet.

That's it for me. Thanks for tuning in and if you want to get in touch please use you can contact by that drt.club. Thanks.
