You may use any example from your study of global history. Some suggestions you might wish to consider include the Neolithic Revolution, the Crusades, the Renaissance, the Encounter/Columbian Exchange, the Black Death/Bubonic Plague, the Fall of Rome, the Fall of the Byzantine Empire, or The Hundred Year’s War.
You are not limited to these suggestions.
Do not use any turning points in United States history.
Guidelines: In your essay be sure to
· Have a relevant thesis and support that thesis with appropriate historical evidence.
· Addresses all parts of the task.
· Makes direct and relevant comparisons.
· Make historical connections
Requirements: Essays must be typed, 12 pt. font, Times New Roman font, double spaced and maximum 1-inch margins. Be sure to have your essay printed and stapled before you come to class. An essay that does not meet these specifications will not be accepted. Do not e-mail essays. If you have a printer issue, get to school early and print the essay.
