Strategic A&D Manager
Ocee Design is looking for a two Strategic A&D Managers to join its growing sales team. We need confident and dynamic individualswho can join a rapidly growing FastTrack 100 company and make a difference. The roles will be based in London or centrally to cover activity in the regions.
Ocee Design has an extensive commercial furniture portfolio and is part of the Ocee International Group of acclaimed furniture brands, which includes iconic Ernest Race Furniture and the Danish furniture manufacturer Four Design.
The roles will focus on developing and implementing a strategy to raise brand awareness and gain specification of our international portfolio with architects, designers and end users.The ideal candidates will have a background in consultancy led sales (preferably within the furniture industry), strong links to interior design and an in-depth knowledge of the A&D sector.
Key responsibilities
- To establish and develop a network of new specifiers and purchasers that will enhance the company's customer portfolio.
- To increase the amount of specifications achieved with existing contacts.
- To promote the company's portfolio of products to potential end users.
- To identify the major projects out in the market, their specifiers and procurement teams and secure the maximum penetration of the company's portfolio.
- To provide market feedback that will contribute to the on-going development of the company's position in the market.
- To contribute to the development of the company's product portfolio to ensure it increases its relevance in the market place.
- To report to and work alongside the Strategic Business Development Director.
- To ensure that all associated clients are kept fully aware of the company's product and service capabilities.
Personal profile:
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- To have a background in consultancy led sales, preferably within the furniture industry.
- To have a strong link to interior design and knowledge of the A&D sector.
- To be able to communicate at all levels.
- Good interpersonal skills and to be able to develop good relationships quickly.
- Strong business and commercial acumen.
- Have an eye for detail in everything that you do.
- To be passionate, confident and dynamic.
- An extensive portfolio of contacts within the A&D sector would be ideal but is not essential as a database will be given.
- A very strong track record of new business development with a consultative sales approach.
- Extensive experience in winning business from key specifiers and purchasers of commercial seating.
- A background in Interior Design or associated industries.
- Extensive contact with major end user FM and procurement teams.
