Ch. 19 Consumerism Project: Poster w/paper
Your poster must be a creative advertisement for a product that was created or used in the 1950s. The poster must be colorful and designed in a way that would grab a consumer’s attention. It must contain 7 accurate pieces of information that reflect the 1950’s. Be sure your poster is well organized, clean, and have no grammatical errors. A great way to begin would be to do some research on 1950’s advertising, as well as look at some pictures of these advertisements. Next, you should use a small piece of paper to plan out your poster and then transfer the information to the poster; this will eliminate the need for constant erasing which may make your poster look messy.
Along with the poster, you must write a full page paper that describes your product and then explains the way in which you chose to design the poster.
Good luck and HAVE FUN!!
