4 / Tocarryout TrainingDevelopmentAnalysisinacontinuousmannerandevaluatetheeffectivenessof training programmeswith respectto stakeholderexpectations
5 / To engage into theperformancemanagementprocessandensure alignmentwithStrategicPlansand stakeholderexpectations
6 / Toformulateand implementcareerdevelopmentframeworksfordifferentjob positionsattheMPA
7 / To ensure effective succession planning
8 / To carryoutsuchrecruitment and selectionactivitiesasmaybe delegated
9 / To carryoutinduction and otherappropriate training
10 / To recommend and devise developmentprogramsto ensure the acquisitionofskillsto meet the Authority’s expectations
11 / To act as Secretary of the MPA Staff Committee as and when required.

13 / To provideguidance todepartmentalmanagerson careerand developmentissues
14 / Tomonitorthe ITsystemand ensure thatsoftware implemented arereliableto provide relevant informationto Managementforgood decisionmaking.

16 / To work closely with line managers in order to ensure the smoothimplementation ofthe performancemanagementsystem
17 / To befullyresponsible and accountablein respectto successfulimplementation ofprojectsfalling under the purviewofthe departmentandmorespecificallywith respectto:
(i)Timelycompletion ofproject;
(ii)Adequacyin thefulfillmentofthe termsofcontract;
(iii)Monitoring and reviewing ofContractor’sPerformanceand compliance;
(iv)Periodicreportingwith particularattentiontoidentifyingand addressing timelyand appropriatelyanysub-standardperformance ordeviation;
(v)Monitoringofbudgetand actual costsofprojectand reporting ofanyvariation.
