- To sing a song: “We are a happy family”,
- Revision an expression: My name is…
Materials: CD with a song, poster with family, puzzles with family

- Play called “My name is” – Students sit in circle and one by one stand and say My name is….

- Teacher shows children a poster with the whole family and introduces members of family, students repeat after teacher every word connected with family eg. mother, father, brother, sister, grandmother, grandfather, uncle, aunt.
- Students practice in pairs – children have pictures of theirs families, one of them asks Who is this? And the second one answers This is.., That is…Teacher monitors the activity.
- Teacher teaches a song “We are happy family”.
- Teacher gives puzzles with family, children put in right order pictures and write English names next to Polish names of family members.
- Teacher writes the names of member family on the board, students write them down in copybooks and copy them several times.
4’ / Homework: Draw genealogy tree of your family.

- To teach and use new vocabulary – instruments: drum, piano, violin, flute, guitar, harp, trumpet,
- To listen to the sounds of instruments
- Revision of colours,
- To use and pronounce correctly prepositions of place eg. on, in, under, behind, on the front, next,
Materials: CD with sounds coming from different instruments, box, papers with different colours,

- Children stand in the circle and sing a song “Good morning”,
- Game “Colours”- children have papers in different colours, teacher says the name of coulor, students choose and shows right colour,

- Teacher starts playing from CD sounds coming from different instruments, students listen and guess the names of instruments in Polish.
- Teacher introduces new vocabulary: drum, piano, violin, flute, guitar, harp, trumpet. Children repeat after teacher the names of instrument.
- Students practice in pairs: one of the pairs imitates the sound of instrument, another one guesses the name of imitate instrument.
- Revision of expressions: in, on ect. Game “Box” – teacher shows an instrument in different position to the box. Students try to name showing position.
- Students draw instruments in a copybook and write their names.
- Ending the lesson. Teacher starts playing from CD sounds coming from different instruments, students listen and guess the name of instruments in English.
3’ / Homework: Write a few sentences with prepositions of place.
