The objective of this project is to bring together many of the topics you have studied this year in an engaging and thought provoking display! Most of us are curious WHY people do what they do, HOW they do it, and HOW they get caught.
Requirements: *Minimum of 5 slides (powerpoint)
*3 minute Presentation (may be mock interview,documentary…)
*1 written research paper
*1 reflection paper
* Sources documented (as needed)
*Slides for ppt-May include
- photo of killer or pictures representing killer (Movie Actor)
- pictures resenting TYPES of evidence found or used in investigation
- location, weapons, maps, headlines
- May NOT include extremely graphic photos that may offend, and they should relate directly to the type of crime.

1. The name (and nicknames) of the serial killer.
2. General summary of the crime, types of evidence found, types of evidence excluded from trial. (fingerprints, blood, DNA, bitemarks,trace) How did this LINK them to crime? How long did trial last? Sentence?Must use Bullet format and IN YOUR OWN WORDS. Remember NO CUT and PASTE…this isplagiarism and will result in a ZERO. Besides, your words are way better than Wiki’s…
3. Methodology, how did he kill, did weapon of choice provide clues to identity , links to movies/books/fictional characters
4. A psychological profile of the killer. WHY DID THEY KILL? (This can be youropinion or list some odd traits about their family background or strange things they did as children, drugs or alcohol abuse?)Pyscopath?Sociopath?Insane?

1. What was the most interesting or unique trait of this serial killer in your opinion. Are there any new techniques that would have helped solve this case sooner than it was? What types of investigative errors were made? Are you for or against the death penalty? Have you ever witnessed a crime? Have you ever been a victim of a crime? If you had to choose ONE branch of Forensic Science, which would you choose and why?
