Lead Industrial Mechanic for manufacturer of internal components used in

industrial electrical panels : terminal blocks, din rail, guide strips, fasteners

and hardware. Machinery consisting of all 3 phase 480/240 volt, PLC controlled.

Various tonnage hydraulic presses, thermo and injection molding machines, and

operator CNC fabrication and milling machines.Also responsible for maintaining and repairing all facilities and material handling equipment : forklifts, scissorlifts,

ballasts, lighting, all wiring and electrical throughout plant. Oversee 2 apprentice

level mechanics. Specializing in troubleshooting all PLC controller issues, machinery breakdowns, and creative fabricating of parts to keep production running seamlessly. Lead mechanic also servicing company trucks and fleet vehicles.

Repair all HVAC systems, plumbing and carpentry as well as office machines.

I have installed new machines and interact with manufacturer engineers on equipment installs, upgrades, modifications, expansions and maintenance. I applied and delegate a vigorous preventative maintenance program on all production machines in the plant resulting in a 33% increase in overall units produced .

Lead Industrial maintenance mechanic for a high volume window manufacturing plant located in northeast Phila. Responsible for servicing PLC controlled machines,

In-shop fabrication, mig welding, rebuilding motors, pumps, gearboxes, pneumatic, hydraulic cylinders. Proximity switch, photo cell, light curtain robotic machines.

Allen Bradley plc (5, 5000, 1200 etc.), Siemens plc, Yasokawa plc, frequency and servo drives. Company implemented and adhered to a structured and detailed

PM schedule around production down time. Maintenance department upheld

an excellent response time to emergency machine breakdowns, and time sensitive

parts replacement and creative fabrication to ensure on time customer delivery

expectations. Worked all shifts as needed by company demands. Maintained

facility climate control systems, plumbing, carpentry, emergency lighting, ballasts,

Senior industrial mechanic. Company manufactured, remanufactured, rebuilt and serviced construction and utilities company pumps, motors, air, hydraulic, pneumaticand electric tools and machinery. Built motor starter control panels from prints,Rebuilt vibratory stress relief motors, vibrators and controllers for structuralsteel manufacturers. Company serviced Phila. Water dept. truck mounted pumps, motors and vacuum components and electronic controls, this was my responsibility.

I served as the shop mechanic, servicing above mentioned items as well as primary

rebuilder and fabricator of numerous manufacturers air and electric tools, pumps, motors and 480, 240, 120 volt controllers and panel boxes. Assisted sales dept. in

all in house machine demos. Mig welding experienced and strong troubleshooting

on all machines and tools received for repair . Dealt with customers to quote repairs

costs, warranties etc. Maintained facility’s needs : electrical, lighting, ballasts, HVAC system, plumbing, ceiling tiles, office machines, loading dock and parts inventory and replenishment. Industrial Mechanic - High speed digital laser imaging machines

Lead mechanic for a remanufacturer of imaging machines for the engineering, medical,printing, and construction industry. My capacity was to tear down machines to theframe and rebuild all internal components (motors, solenoids, clutches, gear reductions, charge coupling devices, wiring harnesses, photo eyes and sensors, relays, transformers and cosmetic panels etc.) Re-assembled machines back to manufacturers specs and completed final run and inspection prior to delivery to customers. Excellent electro - mechanical experience and heavy digital/plc processing experience. My job also consisted of facilities and fleet maintenance.
