- Treasurer’s Report:
- $4100 in account.

- First Indoor Microfly was held at Maugansville Elementary School on Saturday, February 11, 2012.
- There were approximately 18 pilots.
- The venue was rented through the Washington County Parks and Rec Department. They needed us to provide insurance, so we obtained certificates through the AMA. Going forward, there was sufficient interest and turnout to warrant adding the Washington County Board of Education and The Washington County Commissioners to the Additional Insured on the yearly club charter. This would cost approximately $120.
- Pilots were asked to donate $5 to fly
- The event Raised $110 for the Flight for Cancer Event. There was no club money used for the event.
- Rick Marquiss talked about fundraising efforts for the Flight for Cancer Event
- Last year’s event cost about $1300
- Sheetz Fundraiser, $10 per book, 100 coupon books to sell. $6 to sheetz and $4 to Pegasus.
- Fundraising Night; March 5th, Texas Roadhouse. Bring flyer to restaurant and they will donate 10% of food purchase to the fundraiser. Monday night kids eat free.
- Field Improvements
- Front Gate; talk of replacing gate. Priced $120 to replace. Current gate is digging trench. Suggesting spring cleaning date move hinges and build higher using 2x4 and use cable to support the weight. Jim Sanderson volunteered to install a wheel on the gate.
- Talk of installing a runway. Several options were discussed, Geotex, road millings and blacktop. AMA will give field improvement grant but minimum of $1500 is cost for runway.
- Geotex comes in 15 foot wide strips. Could create a 300 ft long pavement like runway for about $1500. Lifespan of 3-5 years to show decay due to UV rays. The material itself $975, shipping $155, and preparation.
- A vote was taken to gauge interest from the club and to get pricing and the vote passed. Mark Galyor will obtain pricing for the 3 options and will present his findings at a special club meeting to be held at the Spring Clean-up Day (date to be announced)
- Rolling the field, talk to Hoot as he has been involved with this in the past.
