  • Rayagada District Munigud PS Case No.40 dt.24-04-14 U/s.344/420/34 IPC /23 JJ Act. In this case 15 children including 05 girl children were rescued from EBENEZER Charitable and Education Trust, Delhi on dt.24-04-14 and handed over to their parents, accused Mrs. Sarala Shetty has been arrested and forwarded to the Court.
  • Koraput District Dasamantapur P.S case No 23, dt 17.06.2014 U/s 374/34 IPC/14 Child Labour Prohibition Act 1986 /25 Inter State Migrant Works Men Regulation of Employment Condition of Service Act 1979. In this case 6 boys age between 16-17 years were rescued from Bangalore and handed over to their parents.
  • Malkangiri District Malkangiri P.S Case No 54, dt 28.03.2014 U/s 370/374/34 IPC/26 JJ (CPC) Act 2000. S.I rescued 3 boys age between 14-17 years from one Bus while they were being trafficked to Andhra Pradesh for labour work. 2 accused persons were arrested.
  • Rayagada P.S Case No 104, Dt 18.05.2014 U/s 363/420/374 IPC/26 JJ Act. Rayagada Police rescued 7 (seven) minor boys with the help of Childline while they were being trafficked by bus to Other State for labour work.

KANDHAMAL

  • K.Nuagam P.S Case No 3, dt 27.01.2014 U/s 363/370/374 IPC. On 26.01.2014 IIC K. Nuagaon P.S rescued 15(fifteen) persons including 6 children while they were being trafficked by one culprit from Lanjigarh to Khurda by a Bus for the purpose of engaging them as labourer.
  • G. Udayagiri P.S case No 82 dt 23.08.2014 U/s 363/370(3)(4)/374 IPC. In this Case 6 girl children were rescued from G. Udayagiri Bus Stand and one accused was arrested.
  • Daringibadi P. S case No 82 dt 13.08.2014 U/s 370(5)/34 IPC. In this Case 9 girl children were rescued from Daringibadi Tini Chhaka and twoaccused was arrested.
  • On 06.09.2014, Kandhamal Police team along with two CWC member repatriated of 22 children of Odisha from Mumbai.

SUNDARGARH

  • Baragaon P.S Case No 100, dt 26.07.2014, U/s 370/34 IPC. IIC Bargaon P.S rescued 16 labours from Tudalaga Chhaka while they were being trafficked to Goa. They rescued 16 labours and arrested 5 accused persons.
  • Talasara P.S Case No 102, dt 24.07.2014, U/s 370/34 IPC. IIC Talasara P.S rescued 29 (twenty nine) labours age between 16 to 30 while they were being trafficked to Goa for labour work.
  • Talasara P.S Case No 104, dt 29.07.2014, U/s 370(3) IPC. ASI Talasara P.S rescued 35 labours age between 19 to 40 while they were being trafficked to Goa for labour work.

RAILWAY, CUTTACK

  • Cuttack GRPS Case No 05, dt 08.01.2014 U/s 370/34 IPC/23 JJ (CPC) Act/14 Child Labour Act/3(VI) SC-ST (POA) Act. ASI GRPS with the help up District Child Protection Officer and rescued 11 girls age between 12-19 years from Ghantikhal Railway Station while they were being trafficked to Andhra Pradesh for labour work.
  • Berhampur GRPS Case No 29, Dt 03.08.2014 U/s 370 IPC/23 JJ Act/14 Child Labour (P&A) Act. Berhampur GRPS Police rescued 16 (sixteen) numbers of female age between 13 -20 from Berhampur Railway Station while they were being trafficked to Hyderabad for labour work in a food processing Industry.

NORTH CENTRAL RANGE, TALCHER

  • Angul P.S Case No 351, Dt 22.06.2014 U/s 370(5) IPC. Chairperson CWC, Angul with the help of RPF Angul rescued 11 minor girls from Angul Railway Station while they were being trafficked from Angul to Surat for labour work in a Prawn Processing factory.
