Our function areas provide two different environments for you to choose from. With the Roof Top Beer Garden area catering for groups of 20 to 150 people, in a casual relaxed atmosphere where you can enjoy a selection of Canapés to tantalize your guests taste buds. Or the Back Restaurant Room caters for groups of 20 to approximately 80 people, offering you the choice of a formal sit down menu, buffet style or a relaxed ‘cocktail’ style setting with Canapés. Regardless of your chosen party zone, here at the Ginger Mule we vow to make your next function a memorable one.
Room Hire Fees & Deposits

Tentative bookings held for 7 days, deposit to be paid within 7 days to confirm booking
Estimated guest numbers required 14 days prior to function date
Menu selections to be confirmed 14 days prior to function date
Platters/Meals to be paid 7 days prior to function.
Bar Tab deposit required 7 days prior (50% deposit of anticipated total, with balance due at completion of function)
The balance of any monies owed are to be paid for in full at the completion of the function
Security Deposit of $100 due within seven days of tentative booking to secure booking.
Deposit will form part of room hire fee.
Extended Room Hire Fees:
*$50 per hour or part thereof (available for bookings of 50 people or more, charged in whole hour intervals)

Cancellations 14-29 days prior to function – 50% Refund

Booking contract to be completed and signed by all parties and accompanied with deposit to secure booking.

Terms And Conditions
Bookings: Bookings are confirmed upon the return of this signed document, accompanied with the required deposit. Functions booked for the months of November and December require a deposit of 50% of estimated charge.
Payment: Deposits can be paid at time of booking by MasterCard, Visa, Cash or EFTPOS. Payment in full for the final estimated cost is required no later than 7 days prior to the event, with any further accrued costs payable on the date of your function.Company and personal cheques cannot be accepted less than 10 business days prior to the event.
Cancellations: The deposit is only refundable as shown below, however, deposit is transferable to another date should 1 months’ notice be given (excluding bookings for November and December).

Surcharge: Public holidays incur a 15% surcharge.
Room Allocation: Whilst every effort is made to reserve the requested area for the function, management reserve the right to relocate the function to an alternative area within the venue, in the event that the designated area is deemed inappropriate or otherwise unavailable.
Final Details: Tentative bookings are only held for 7 days, deposit to be paid within 7 days to confirm booking. Your estimated guest numbers are required 14 days prior to function date along with your menu selections with confirmed numbers required 7 days prior.Platters/Meals and bar tab are also required to be paid 7 days prior (50% deposit of anticipated bar tab total, with balance due at completion of function) All monies owed are to be paid for in full at the completion of the function.
Setup and Delivery of Equipment: All deliveries and setup of equipment must be approved by the venue 2 days prior to the date of the function. A time must be arranged with the functions co-ordinator for the delivery and setup of any outside equipment.
Decorations and Signage: Should you wish to decorate, please prearrange room access with the Manager and advise us of any expected deliveries you may have. Items may only be fixed to the walls, etc. with blu-tak and need to be removed at the completion of your function. Confetti or Glitter is not permitted. $50 Cleaning fee will be charged if used.
If any decorations set off our fire alarms (e.g. smoke machines, sparklers etc.) the resulting charges will be billed to the client.
Commencement and Vacating of Function Area: The client agrees to commence and vacate the designated function area at the scheduled times which have been agreed upon 2 weeks prior to the function date.In the event that the function area has not been vacated by the finish time, management reserves the right to charge the client with any resulting cost.
Consumption: No food or beverages are to be brought onto the premises, with the exception of a celebration cake. If a cake is brought onto the premises by the client, Ginger Mule accept no responsibility for damage to the cake during storage or setup, and we accept no responsibility for any health related side effects to those who consume the cake whilst on our premises.
Damages: The client is responsible for any charges incurred by damages to the designated function area or its property (eg. furniture, equipment). The client is responsible for the charges of any cleaning required due to excessive soiling of the function area.
Client’s and Guest’s Property: Any property left behind at the venue after the function will be held by us for 2 weeks only. After this time we will donate it to goodwill. If you have left any property behind, please contact us at your earliest convenience to arrange a collection time.
Smoking: Smoking is only permitted in the designated smoking area.
Responsible Service of Alcohol: All management and staff are trained in the responsible service and supply of alcohol.
All staff are trained in identifying signs of undue intoxication and actively monitor levels of all patrons.
Licensing laws prohibit supply to disorderly, unduly intoxicated and underage persons. Patrons showing signs of undue intoxication or disorderly behaviour will be refused service and asked to leave the premises.
Guest Conduct: It is expected that the client and guests all conduct themselves in an orderly and responsible manner. Management reserves the right to remove anyone from the premises who is behaving in an unacceptable manner.
