THE FOLLOWING ARE REQUIREMENTS TO BE REVIEWEDBY PROPOSED INSPECTION DELEGATE PERSONNEL. PLEASE CHECK OFF EACH CATEGORYTO CONFIRMUNDERSTANDING AND COMPREHENSION OF L-3 CPS REQUIREMENTS. NOTE: USE ONE (1) CHECKSHEET FOR EACH DELEGATE REQUEST. RETURN COMPLETED FORM ALONG WITH COMPLETED INSPECTION DELEGATION RECORD (QJ-21) TO SQA COMMODITY LEAD

  1. The Inspection Delegate (ID) is qualified to perform acceptance activities. (QJ21 Quality Clause)

  3. Technical Competence
  4. Quality Assurance background and experience
  5. Unrestricted access to L-3 CPS SQA
  6. Access to the manufacturing process for process verification
  7. Authority to exercise a “No Ship” directive
  8. I understand that a copy of the stamped shipper/packing slip and all supporting inspection data and objective evidence of product conformance is to be maintained on file.(QY11 and QJ21 Quality Clause)
  9. I understand that records must be retained for7years after Purchase Order Completion(QY11 and QJ21 Quality Clause)
  10. I understand that documents must be available for L-3 CPS/Government review at any time. (QJ-21, PQA manual under Minimum Quality Systems Requirements)
  11. The ID stamp must be kept under delegate control and secured from unauthorized use. (QJ21 Quality Clause)
  12. I am to notify my L-3 CPS Regional Lead immediately if this stamp is lost, stolen, damaged or worn.(QJ21 Quality Clause)
  13. I am to notify my L-3 CPS Regional Lead if I suspect any unauthorizeduse of this stamp.(QJ21 Quality Clause)
  14. I understand that the stamp impression affixed to the shipping documentation is the only form of product acceptance. Unstamped items may be returned at L-3 CPS discretion at the Supplier’s expense per the Purchase Order Terms and Conditions.(QJ21 Quality Clause)
  15. I have reviewed the PQA (Procurement Quality Assurance) manual and Quality Clause Definitions located on the L-3 Website
  16. I understand that even though I have an L-3 ID stamp, I am still required to submit my FPI documentation to L-3 CPS for a pre-review when I am supplying a NEW PART NUMBER to L-3 CPS for the first time.(QY11, QJ21 Quality Clause)
  17. I understand as the ID Delegate stamp holder,I do not have the authority to stamp off on First Piece Inspection (FPI) requirements. (QJ21 Quality Clause)
  18. The ID Delegate stamp cannot be transferred/reassigned to someone else in my company. (QJ21 Quality Clause)
