We are pleased to announce that Video Masters will be responsible again this year for professional videography at our 2017-2018 choir concert events. Video Masters brings 32 years of experience in live performance videography to Friendswood High School Choir and has clients throughout the world. Video Masters, winner of 6 Telly Awards, specializes in performing arts.

The special techniques used by Video Masters allow professional video during live performance that is unique and beyond what can be obtained with ordinary cameras. Live performance video is the most challenging to produce with good quality due to the highly variable stage lighting and the continuous action. Choir members appear on camera as choreography demands and all performers will be represented as equally as possible. The camera will film full, half, quarter stage, and close-up views. The emphasis is on storyline and choreography “where the action is.” Since performers remain off stage, video is the only way they can see their own personal performances. YOU MAY WANT TO ORDER MORE THAN ONE COPY AS GIFTS FOR FRIENDS AND FAMILY MEMBERS. Please allow 4-6 weeks from the date of each concert for postproduction and delivery. DVDs are delivered to the directors for distribution in class except for the Pop Show, which is mailed directly to the address on the form.

PERSONAL AUDIO AND VIDEO RECORDINGS ARE PROHIBITED DURING THE CONCERTS FOR THE PERFORMERS’ SAFETY, COMFORT OF THE AUDIENCE, AND TO COMPLY WITH FIRE REGULATIONS. PLEASE NO FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY DURING THE PERFORMANCES AS IT IS DANGEROUS AND DISTRACTS THE PERFORMERS AND DIRECTORS. CELL PHONES ARE ALSO PROHIBITED AS THE TRANSMISSION INTERFERES WITH THE AUDITORIUM SOUND SYSTEM, MICROPHONES, AND WIRELESS TECH COMMUNICATION. PLEASE TURN ALL ELECTRONIC DEVICES “OFF” DURING THE PERFORMANCES.
