St Ives Park Primary School is a happy, safe and stimulating school. To ensure that every student is able to learn effectively and enjoy school, all students will comply with the Code of Behaviour and the Management of Student Behaviour.
CODE / WHAT IT MEANS
I will learn all I can / ·  I will be an active and attentive learner:
·  I will pay attention in class;
·  I will ensure all homework, assignments and class work are completed on time;
·  I will be on time for school, classes, assemblies and special groups; and
·  I will come prepared for school.
I will be happy, healthy and safe / ·  I will play safely in the playground and obey the rules;
·  I will wear my hat when outside;
·  I will follow the rules of good hygiene;
·  I will leave dangerous materials at home;
·  I will listen to my school leaders; and
·  I will deliver all school messages.
I will respect myself and others / ·  I will be courteous to and co-operate with other students, staff and community members;
·  I will care for and respect the property of other people at all times;
·  I will care for and respect my own property;
·  I will be aware the Code of Behaviour applies to all school activities at all times;
·  I will respect the school’s good name and represent the school properly;
·  I am aware the Code of Behaviour applies from the time I leave until the time I arrive home from school;
·  I will travel safely and obey road rules and the rules of transport authorities;
·  I will respect the rights of others;
·  I will behave well at school and on excursions;
