Local Modification to SSB/OASIS Grading – Patrick reported faculty senate has approved use of last date of attendance functionality in Banner required when entering grades of F. New feature helps Financial Aid office and Veteran tracking. Currently OASIS is not displaying error message when last attendance date is not entered by faculty. SunGard suggested a mod to get the message to appear and to submit an RPE. The hope is to have it ready for Summer 1 use. No objections from the committee. Karen offered to adjust code for Patrick to test.

PPRD Status – Taylor reported status of LDAP. He is working with users and finishing code and working on rules for the refresh backwards from PROD. He will begin testing and also working with EDIR issues. Julie reminded users testing will be needed for activating students and users in PPRD, etc. Julie also reporting Mandy is working on changes on account activation for the future.

Financial Aid 8.11 Upgrade – AR upgrades are not needed for FA 8.11 upgrade. Data refresh is needed for a test system for FA to test. Patrick was OK with TRNG if Karen can get his changes to OASIS within a week. Julie will check with Caroline regarding IVY Tech data testing and the new admissions app.

DEVL Data Refresh - Karen reported DEVL looks like PROD. Is there a data refresh needed? Last refreshed January 2011. Users present not aware of anything going on in DEVL. Terry will check with his staff. Julie suggested a refresh be done soon.

Cognos Downtime – Friday, May 6th 5:30 PM – The audit database has not been working since the last Cognos upgrade. Kim requested approval for down time on Friday at 5:30. Committee approved date and time.

Clean Address – First Meeting June 2, 2011 – Julie warned users that clean address meetings need to be scheduled and time set aside. Items would include testing, meetings, etc.

Financial Aid Awarding for New Year – Judy reported students are not required to answer attendance plans on the new FAFSA. Office is reviewing packaging options to default to full time monies. Aid will then only be authorized based on hours actually attending. Tuition and books are only adjustments to budgets if student is not going full time, other than out of state students.

Rate Code Changes to Banner – Pam requested for rate code adjustment on student records. She asked status of project. Terry and Julie will discuss the best staff member to make the changes.

IU Safe Word Cards – Jan reported the safe word cards are being replaced at the end of May. Not sure how many are affected or how much we will be charged.

dotCMS Update – Terry reported users are able to update items in dotCMS as of today. Content problems from last week were identified and corrected. Calendar is still not available and Terry will be checking on the status of it with dotCMS.
