Introduction of the Officer Team

Due to the resignation of the elected president, the officers are now as follows:

The Executive Board is comprised of the officers and the senators

General Meeting Comments

Meetings will begin promptly at 7:01

We wish to operate more smoothly and efficiently

You are the heart of Student Council-We want to see you!!

We are comprised of various tiers of members:

Representatives-general members

Delegates

Senators

Officers

Points

Outlines will be given at each monthly meeting

There will no longer be a point sheet to be signed and turn in

Sign in when you attend an event and SIGN OUT!

We will mark down your points and post them on the website

Points are due at each monthly meeting

We will update the site with new point opportunities, so check the webside!

1 pt per 9/11 tag, max of 10 pts

During the school year, there are no community points

If you are having point issues, please do not hesitate to ask or email for help from the officers

We will work out a solution for you

But DO NOT wait till the last minute

You cannot “double dip” points

This means that they cannot count for multiple organizations or receive pay

We receive calls with opportunities all the time-you can get all your points

If you are aware of an opportunity, please email us or come by and see us

Varsity Games- Bring us your ticket stub or equivalent and we will give you a point

If you must attend a game due to extracurricular activities, you CANNOT get points for it (like band, Fillies, Football team, etc.);Blue Crew excluded

Representatives and Delegates- White polo

Senators- Light blue polo

Officers- Dark blue polo

All- Brown shoes and brown belt

Tucked-in shirt

Khakis (tan)

Sperry’s are NOT allowed

If you are not in official dress, you will not be allowed to work the event and will receive no points

Open House

9/26, a Monday

Must be in official dress

Arrive at 6:30pm

This is a chance to impress the parents

You need to be asking if they need help and working on presenting a good face for StuCo

There are multiple-point opportunities involved with setting up and cleaning up for the dance

Sign up to sell during a lunch in the StuCo office

Tickets- $25

Note: Other schools charge the same for a dance in the gym

The Civic Center is very expensive and prices are increasing

We are the only school in the district that hosts Homecoming off-campus

Promote Spirit Days!!

Dressing up is a point!

Please set an example at the dance

Dances across the country are being canceled due to inappropriate dancing
