Nice work! You have presented the primary position of Clark and others. I would suggest a more detailed and direct presentation of Kozma’s position from Kozma’s point of view since he was/is a primary individual involved in the debate. I was happy to see that you actually took a position (implied) on the debate. I think that the point that you make on Page 7 (theory issue), first full paragraph is very insightful. On page 9 you state a number of research questions. These questions were asked many years ago by Bill Allen.. If you reorganized the paper (not required for this class) it would be more accessible to the reader. I do think that you have included the major issues in the debate. I offer the following suggestions for reorganization including the following parts or sub-headings:
Context of the Debate
Directly State Your Position or Thesis for the paper (relative to Clark and Kozma)
Clark’s Position (with critical analysis)
Kozma’s Position (with critical analysis)
Summary and Conclusions
Implications for the instructional Technology Field (from the perspectives of both academic work and practice)
Assessment Criteria that you met from the scoring guide. (There are 4 levels in the scoring guide. You scored at the highest level, 13.5 -15 (A) points possible.)
