Position: Three (3) Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainers
Concordia University Irvine, California has (3) graduate assistantships available beginning August 1st, 2012. Assignments possible within these assistantships include: M/W Soccer, M/W Swimming, M/W Water Polo, Men’s Volleyball, and High School Football. These assignments involve taking on all Athletic Training duties pertaining to the assigned sport including but not limited to the care and prevention of athletic injuries, practice and competition coverage (including travel), and other duties assigned by the Athletic Training Staff. Weekend and evening hours will be required. Qualified candidates will serves as Approved Clinical Instructors for Athletic Training Students in CAATE accredited Athletic Training Education Program.
The position is a 10-month appointment with possible renewal for a second year. Benefits include a full graduate school tuition waiver and $8,000 stipend.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training
Acceptance into Graduate School at CUI
BOC certification or BOC certification eligible
