Yeast Media

YPDA Liquid Media (1l)

Add ~500ml MilliQ water to a 1l bottle

20g Glucose (dissolve with stirrer before adding anything else)

20g Peptone (dissolve)

10g Yeast Extract (dissolve)

100mg adenine (won’t dissolve until autoclaved)

Make up to 1l with water and autoclave.

Store at room temperature.

Add ~500ml MilliQ water to a 1l bottle

Allow media to cool to ~50oC.

Weigh out appropriate amount of 3AT in extraction hood and add to media. It should dissolve immediately.

Pour plates in a lamina flow cabinet and allow to dry for 1 hour before storing.

Store at room temperature in the dark for short term storage or at 4oC for long term storage.
