ANTI-TERRORISM CONFERENCE

(IWMDPATC)

This Second Annual one of a kind conference will once again bring together Fire Service, Law Enforcement, Haz-Mat, Public Health, EMA, EMS and the Department of Justice in joint conference to better understand and coordinate our preparedness in case of a WMD disaster. The Indiana Drug Enforcement Association and the Federal Bureau of Investigation have extended this workshop to a 4 day event in order to give you access to over 16 different topics in all of these areas. Some of the topics will include the Argonne National Lab RAP team, the FBI’s Hazardous Materials Response Unit, Center for Disease Control (CDC), Tactical Medicine, National Nuclear Security Administration, Agro terrorism efforts, Medical effects of a WMD, United States Secret Service HAMMER team, Purdue University, Public Health and many more. Another special presentation by the FBI’s Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) and Special Agent Bomb Technician will also be included.

A large outdoor hands-on display will include several Fire Departments’ Hazardous Materials Units including that of the Greenwood Fire and Hazardous Materials Response Unit along with the FBI’s Mobile Base of Operations.
