NEW YEAR OPEN TRIATHLON

1. MINI’s under 8 yrs (if enough entries) Bean bags, 2 min swim, 1000m run

2. MINIMUS GIRLS 8 - 11 yrs 7 metre shoot, 2 min swim, 1000m run

3. MINIMUS BOYS 8 -11 yrs 7 metre shoot, 2 min swim, 1000m run

In line with national policy 8yrs old on date of competition, all other ages as at 01.01.17

4. JUNIOR GIRLS 12 - 14 yrs 7 metre shoot, 3 min swim, 1500m run

5. JUNIOR BOYS 12 - 14 yrs 7 metre shoot, 3 min swim, 1500m run

6. INTERMEDIATE / OPEN GIRLS 10 metre shoot, 3 min swim, 1500m run

7. INTERMEDIATE / OPEN BOYS 10 metre shoot, 4 min swim, 2000m run

SWIMMING: 08.15 a.m. at West Craven Swimming Pool, Barnoldswick, BB18 5TB

SHOOTING: 11.00 a.m. at Pot Haw Farm, Coniston Cold, Nr Skipton, BD23 4ED, by kind permission

Turning targets will be used for all classes. 11 yrs and under may shoot with two hands.

ANYONE under 21yrs MUST NOT CARRY GUNS, unless supervised by an adult over 21.

RUNNING: Will follow on from the shooting phase at Pot Haw Farm, Coniston Cold.

TEAMS: Teams to consist of 3 or 4 members; no more than two boys, and no more than two competitors

from any age group in each team, with the best three scores to count.

There is no restriction on the number of teams a branch may enter.

Trophies to winning teams and individuals.

Rosettes to 6th place in all classes, plus mystery novelty prizes for 11yrs and under.

NB: THERE WILL BE NO CATERING AVAILABLE

Legal liability: Neither the organiser nor any person acting on their behalf, accept any liability for any loss

damage, accident, injury, or illness, to competitors, spectators, or any other persons or property

whatsoever.

Health & Safety: The organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health & safety of

all present, but for these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions

to avoid and prevent accidents occurring, and must obey the instructions of the organiser, and all

officials and stewards

Due to limited time at the pool entries may have to be limited. So apply early!

Entries close strictly on 23rd December 2016 or before if the event is fully subscribed.

Times will be available on PF&CH website by Wednesday, 04.01.17 (or before if possible)

Photographic Rights - competitors and their guardians give permission for any photographic and/or film or TV footage taken of persons or horses/ponies taking part in Pony Club events to be used and published in any media whatsoever for editorial purposes, press information or advertising by or on behalf of The Pony Club and/or official sponsors of The Pony Club
