A RESOLUTION adjourning the House of Representatives in loving memory and honor of Thomas "Cloyd" Wilson.
With deepest respect and admiration, we pay homage and tribute to Thomas "Cloyd" Wilson, and we pause in silent reverence for his soul.
WHEREAS, Thomas Wilson was born on August 29, 1926, a native of Carlisle County, Kentucky, and longtime resident of Fancy Farm, Graves County, Kentucky, and he traversed these earthly bounds on March 18, 2004; and
WHEREAS, Thomas Wilson was the loving son of the late Leslie and Beatrice Cissell Wilson; he was the devoted husband of Dorothy "Dot" O'Neill Wilson; he was the loving father of four daughters, Claudette Mills of Hickory, Peggy Tharp of Fancy Farm, and Carol Sue Fristoe and Patricia Puryear, both of Mayfield; he was the proud grandfather of eight grandchildren, and the proud great-grandfather of two great-grandchildren; and he also leaves behind four loving sisters, Ruth Collins of Lexington, Sister Dorothy Wilson and Shirley Westerman, both of Louisville, and Rose Nell Douthitt of Florida, and five loving brothers, Joseph L. Wilson, Harold Wilson, Charles A. Wilson, James J. Wilson, and Phillip Wilson, all of Fancy Farm; and
WHEREAS, Thomas Wilson was an esteemed member of the Graves County community, where he was a devout member of St. Jerome Catholic Church; he was a farmer by profession, and he took pride in his lifelong ownership of John Deere tractors; he was also a talented craftsman, and produced such items as gun cabinets, rocking horses, and baby cradles for the community; and he was a devoted father and grandfather; and
WHEREAS, the passing of Thomas "Cloyd" Wilson has left a void that cannot be filled, and he is mourned across the length and breadth of the Commonwealth;
NOW, THEREFORE,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky:

Section 1. The House of Representatives does hereby express its profound sense of sorrow upon the passing of Thomas "Cloyd" Wilson, and extends to his family and friends its most heartfelt sympathy.
Section 2. When the House of Representatives adjourns this day, it does so in loving memory and honor of Thomas "Cloyd" Wilson.
Section 3. The Clerk of the House of Representatives is hereby directed to transmit a copy of this Resolution to Mrs. Dorothy O'Neill, 293 County Road 1106, Fancy Farm, Kentucky 42039.
