RULES: Official Match Bulletin & current NRA rules will be used. This is a NRA Registered match.

ELIGIBILITY: All shooters must have a current membership with the TSRA at registration. Though NRA memberships are not required, it is highly recommended since they do defend our 2nd Amendment rights.

ENTRIES: Will be conducted at the matches. Shooters must fill out a TSRA Competitor Membership Form, complete a NRA SR-1 card, & pay the required fees before receiving targets and competing.

ENTRY FEES: Adults - $20 per event (match) – Smallbore Combo is $35.

Juniors - $15 per event (match) – Smallbore Combo is $25.

Team (2 member teams only) - $10 per team event. There must be 3 teams entered per event

for awards to be considered. There can be pick-up teams.

ENTRY FEES DO NOT INCLUDE NRA or TSRA MEMBERSHIP FEES!!!.

CLASSIFICATION OF COMPETITORS: Adults – Juniors (20 & below).

TEAMS: Only 2 shooters per team. Pickup teams are allowed. There must be 3 teams in an event for awards to be considered.

AWARDS: Individual – State Champion awards will be given to high score per event & High Adult per event. Additional place

awards will be given per five remaining shooters in each event. No competitor can win more than one individual award in an event.

Team – State Champion team awards will be given provided there are at least 3 teams entered & participating per

event. Additional place awards will be given per three remaining teams in each event. One State award will

be given to each winning team member.

TARGETS: Orion Scoring System

SIGHTS: Metallic sights, except seniors (60 & up) may use any sights in smallbore only.

COURSES OF FIRE: Air Rifle: (10m)

All Standing* (60 shots) – 90 minutes. (30/30/30) per 2 targets.

Precision (3x20) – 90 minutes. (30/30/30).per 2 targets.

Sporter (3x20) – 90 minutes. (30/30/30).per 2 targets.

Smallbore Rifle: (50 feet)

Prone* – 60 shots in 60 minutes. (20/20/20 – 2 targets each stage).

3P (3x20) – 90 minutes (20/40/30 – 2 targets each position).

Combo (Prone+3P) – 60 shots Prone + 3P (3x20-standing & kneeling – 40/30) combined into one event - 1st two targets of prone count toward prone 3P.

CHALLENGES: $1.00 per bull. Handled by the Orion Scoring System.

DIRECTIONS TO RANGE:

Amarillo – Amarillo Rifle & Pistol Club – 7650 N Western – 1 ½ miles north of Loop 335 (St Francis Ave) on Western Ave. Map can be mailed at request.

Rosenberg – Ft Bend County Educational Building (1402 Band Rd) – Take State Hwy 36 south from U.S. Hwy 59. Fort Bend County’s Fairground is about a mile on the right from Hwy 59. Range is indoors just past large arena (on the left while facing arena). There is a short street (Arena - sign may be missing at Hwy 36) just past blinking yellow lights on the right off of 36. Turn right then turn left at stop sign. There will be a parking lot in front of you & you can turn right before entering the lot. The indoor range building will be straight ahead. Registration is inside.
