Rostering and administration OFFICER

OBJECTIVE:The main focus of the position is to provide day-to-day rostering and administration for AMCS Home Care Packages program and Premium Care program. Being a team player, cooperating and communicating effectively with team members and service providers

CLASSIFICATION:This position is classified under the Social, Community Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award, 2010. Home Care - The level of final salary is based on qualifications and relevant experience.

REPORTS TO:Team Leader Home Care Packages Program

HOURS:Full time (38 hours per week)

LOCATION:Australian Multicultural Community Services Inc, 44-56 Hampstead Road, Maidstone, 3012.

ORGANISATIONAL CONTEXT

AMCS is an established community based organisation with over thirty years of experience in providing support and care services to Victoria’s multicultural communities.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES

-Attend to incoming calls from Support Workers and clients with scheduling and service related enquiries

-Action all service requests in a timely manner.

-Prepare and distribute fortnightly rosters to Support Workers efficiently.

-Attend tofeedback and reports from Support Workers in relation to clients.

-Undertake support workers time sheet reconciliation.

-Monitor relevant Support Workers registers.

-Coordinate Support Workers Bi Monthly meeting and training

-Ordering of supplies.

-Advise clients and carers in a timely manner of changes to care and service delivery.

-Monitor Support Workers recruitment and participate in induction

-On call allocation as per the team roster.

-Maintain filing of documentation and general admin tasks

-Other duties as delegated by the Team Leader and the Manager of Aged Services, which may also relate to general organisational demand.

SELECTION CRITERIA AND REQUIREMENTS

-Experience in scheduling and rostering is essential

-Excellent organizational and time management skills

-Excellent customer service

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills

-Ability to work in a dynamic and busy environment

-An eye for detail, thoroughness in completing tasks

-Ability to work independently and in a team

-Flexibility in handling multiple tasks

-Ability to communicate effectively with Management, Care Advisors, Support Workers, Service providers and Clients.

-Valid police check

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

Employees are eligible for salary packaging offered by AMCS to add value to their remuneration.

All employees are subject to satisfactory completion of a six (6) month qualifying period and acceptance by the employer of a current police check. AMCS withhold the right to extend the probation period if required.
