Vancouver, BC – Monday, March 24, 2014 – Creation Technologies, a leader in providing tailored electronics design and manufacturing solutions to OEMs, today announced the appointment of Bhawnesh Mathur as its new President and Chief Executive Officer. Bhawnesh brings a wealth of strategic leadership gained from his 30-year career in electronics and electronics manufacturing, with cross-industry insight coming from experience at companies as diverse as IBM, Sanmina-SCI and Arrow Electronics. "

Bhawnesh’s career has been marked by accomplishment. Originally from India, Bhawnesh graduated from the University of Florida in 1979 with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering. He received his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Arizona in 1983. Over two formative decades at IBM, he learned creative ways to apply his technological expertise to help customers solve problems. From assignments in plant management to global supply chain, Bhawnesh led cross-functional teams that defined procurement strategy and enabled rapid product development, ultimately decreasing time-to-market for end customers.
During Bhawnesh’s tenure at Sanmina-SCI as EVP Global Supply Chain, and later as EVP Global Logistics, he streamlined supply chain processes and deployed IT systems that provided global visibility. As Chief Supply Chain Officer for Arrow Electronics, Bhawnesh drove cross-border regulatory efforts and efficiencies in global and regional teams. Most recently, as CEO of EPIC Technologies, Bhawnesh led Lean initiatives in manufacturing and supply chain that united the company and resulted in significant benefits for EPIC and its customers.
