3:20-4:05 pm – Panel

·  Jerry Alliston, PhD, MSW – Institute for Disability Studies, The University of Southern Mississippi (UCEDD), Social Work, AUCD Council Member, focuses on: community inclusion, transition, person-centered planning, employment

·  Kenneth Kelty – Self-advocate, former LEND trainee at Carolina Institute for Developmental Disabilities (UNC), The Arc of The Triangle, The Western Carolina University UP Participants Program, focuses on: public speaking about experience with autism and social inclusion on a college campus

·  Kira Knight, MD, MS – Mailman Center of Child Development (Miami UCEDD), AUCD Diversity Fellow.

·  Kelly Nye-Lengerman, MSW, LGSW, PhD – Institute on Community Integration, University of Minnesota (UCEDD), Social Work, AUCD Council Member, PROMISE, focuses on: public policies and systems work, inclusive employment practices and policy, poverty

·  Zipporah Levi-Shackleford, MA –AUCD Board of Directors Trainee representative, former LEND trainee at Virginia Commonwealth University (VALEND), Partnership for People with Disabilities, Creative Approach Development Center, LLC.

4:15 pm-4:20pm – CORE Trainee Research Award presented to Carli Friedman by Tamar Heller

4:20-5:30pm – Speed Networking – You will have 3 minute intervals to get to know your peers and ask them questions during this time. You will meet at least 20 fellow trainees, so be sure to write down information! Cards are available to jot down contact information.

5:30-5:50pm – Andrew J. Imparato, AUCD Executive Director

5:50-6:00pm – Adjourn – please complete the evaluation!
