The Treasurer reported the opening and closing balance at $1080.40.
The report was approved by Donna O'Leary and LuAnn Green.
This year the $500 scholarship funds will be sent to St. Pius X and Pope John XXIII.
Dennis Butler reminded us that physicals have to be done between September 1, 2012 and August 31, 2013 to qualify for the reduction in deductibles. Make sure that the doctor's office codes the visit as an annual routine physical. The health risk assessment must be filled out and anyone with chronic conditions must participate in the Chronic Care Management program. This year Horizon will be following up on participation.
New deductibles are applied on January 1st of each year.
Horizon will create a micro-site for the Diocese of Paterson which will allow for easier access and navigation. The microsite address is www.horizonblue.com/dioceseofpaterson
There will be a new prescription manager Prime Therapeutic LLC beginning July 1 instead of CVS/Caremark. You will be receiving additional information about the new program directly from Horizon by early June, and a new Horizon ID card by July 1.
Unemployment benefits are through the Diocese and not through the state. At present, benefits run for up to 26 weeks at $561/week.
Brother William informed us that the next salary guide conference call will be on May 23rd.
No FAC dues will be collected next year and selection of schools for scholarship funds will be ended.
The Chair's position is at the end of its three-year term. Robin Kirkner offered to take the position for the next term. There was a call for candidates from the floor but none offered. A vote was taken and the unanimous majority elected Robin.
The next meeting will be on October 16th at 2:00 PM
The meeting was closed with a prayer.
