This role is…
The Senior AP Co-ordinator, will be responsible for day to day tasks allocated to them by the AP manger. You will take responsibility for the supplier payments, escalation process liaising with branches and suppliers. Approving reconciliations and Adjustments
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities for this role
- To provide support to the AP Manager
- Ensure all escalated queries and problems are dealt with, within the agreed SLA.
- Check & Authorise supplier payment request
- Check & authorise supplier Journal Adjustments
- Check & Authorise Supplier Reconciliations
- Ensure the Mid Month & Month Payments are run on time.
- Ensure the Bank Reconciliation is up to date
- Ensure the Debit balances are kept up to date
- Set up new supplier accounts
Experience, Knowledge, Qualifications & Skills
Essential / Nice to have
- Proficient Excel skills as well as other MS Office Programs.
- Able to Manage multiple projects in a high-volume environment.
- Good problem solving skills
- Exceptional organisation skills with a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent time keeping, working to deadlines and prioritising as needed.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Comfortable communicating with all levels of the company, in a professional manner, whilst acknowledging confidentiality: either in person, via email or on the phone.
- Self-motivated
- Proactive approach to work and passionate about delivering an exceptional service to both internal and external customers.
- Happy to be flexible to the business changes.
- Previous experience of working in an Accounts Payable at a senior level
