You are at the UP's WC Yards to pickup and exchange of freight. Return to BNSF Yard B and drop you consist and move forward until you are in position to back into the San Bernardino Passenger station and pick up the Santa Fe 3751 and head for Fontana.

You will pickup a consist of a combination of freight & passenger cars. You will leave for Los Angeles through the BNSF B yard, on towards Riverside. The activity will end there. Look out for the red lights, also speed limits.

YOU LEFT REDONDO BEACH EARLIER THIS MORNING, AND THE DISPATCHER HAS GIVEN YOU A HIGHBALL TO SAN BERNARDINO WHERE YOU NEED TO STOP AND TAKE ON WATER.
CURRENTLY YOU ARE JUST WEST OF SAN BERNARDINO'S "B YARD", AND ONE OF YOUR BOX CARS (0-11) ON YOUR TRAIN IS GIVING YOU A PROBLEM SO YOU HAVE NOTIFIED DISPATCH THAT YOU WILL NEED TO SET THE CAR OUT AT THE EAST END OF B YARD ON TRACK "BNSF B YARD 1" BEFORE PROCEEDING ON INTO THE STATION IN SAN BERNARDINO.

YOU JUST FINISHED TURNING YOUR TRAIN AROUND AND TOOK ON WATER AT THE AMTRAK STATION IN EAST BARSTOW, AND YOUR NEXT WATER STOP WILL BE AT MOJAVE BEFORE PROCEEDING ON INTO BAKERSFIELD WHERE YOU WILL TIE DOWN FOR THE NIGHT.
CURRENTLY, YOU ARE COMING INTO EAST BARSTOW YARD, AND THE SPEED LIMIT IS 15 MPH ON THE TRACK THAT THE DISPATCHER HAS YOU LINED UP ON. AND THERE ARE SOME TRAINS IN THE YARD SO PROCEED WITH CAUTION. HOWEVER, ONCE OUT OF THE YARD, YOU HAVE A HIGHBALL ALL THE WAY TO MOJAVE SO KEEP'EM ON THE HIGH IRONS!

On the morning of August 19, 2002 you have left Los Angeles for a convention trip to Williams Arizona. From there your train will go to the Grand Canyon. You will be coming in on the Metro-Line overpass to the San Bernardino Passenger Terminal for a short service stop. It has been reported that there is some maintenance of track up in the Cajon Pass region, which could cause some delays. Your activity will end just pass Hesperia. Part 2 will start at this point.

You are returning from the Grand Canyon and will stop in Barstow for service. Of course there will be fans taking pictures. Blow your whistle when you have the Barstow Station in sight. After your service stop you will continue to Victorville, slowing down to 20 MPH so the train fans can take pictures. You will not stop at the station. From there you will head for Hesperia and soon after part 3 will be completed.
