Review of "11-02-084r2-E-Merged_Letter_Ballot_Comments_Sorted.xls":
Resolution of comments:
/ Accepted in Dallas.918 / Accepted in Dallas.
/ Accepted in Dallas.
/ Reclassify as editorial.
/ Rejected. This would render the poll + data subtypes unusable because in those frames the TID field contains the TID of the data. Since Data and polls can exist in the same frame, would need a separate TID field for the poll request. This would also be inconsistent with the philosphy of letting the station decide what data to forward to the HC, since the station has the most recent information on the status of its queues.
/ Reclassify as editorial.
/ Reclassify as editorial.
/ Duplicate. See ID 923.
/ Rejected. 802.11i is responsible to their own changes and modifications to the standard. There should be no impact TGe needs to reflect in their work for those changes.
/ Rejected. This frame is not used within the EDCF but is required for other mechanims in the HCF.
/ Reclassify as FEC.
/ Accepted. No fix is needed. Strictly ordered service is not avialable in a QBSS. When A QSTA exists in a BSS, it must use non QoS frames and follow the legacy rules for this bit. An STA in a QBSS will not be able to communicate station to station, it can only communicate with the HC and use legacy frame formats. Thus there is no conflict. Clarifications on this issue already exist in clauses 3 and 9.
/ Duplicate. See ID 928.
/ Reclassify to FEC.
/ Reclassify to Burst Ack.
/ Rejected. Would increase size of CC_OP duration and unnecessarily increase overhead.
/ Accepted in Dallas.
/ Rejected. Required mechanisms were added in Dallas.
/ Accepted in Dallas.
/ Reclassify as editorial. Addressed in Draft 2.0a
/ Reclassify as editorial. Addressed in Draft 2.0a
/ Accepted in Dallas.
/ Duplicate. See ID 936.
/ Duplicate. See ID 937.
/ Duplicate. See ID 938.
/ Accepted. Resolved in Dallas.
/ Accepted. Resolved in Dallas
/ Rejected. The subject of QoS support in a IBSS is addressed in 5.22. Map to Frame Fmts group only.
/ Rejected. STA may be allowed to associate by HC in a QBSS. Clarification would not belong here, but in Clause 11.
/ Accepted.
/ Accept. Add clarification that use of power save mode by a QSTA preculdes the use of QSTA to QSTA communications and Burst Ack. Refer to Burst Ack.
/ To be addressed.
/ Action to Michael to reinterpret.
