Our Winter New Employee Social will be taking place on Thursday, February 23rd from 4:00 – 5:30 in Phoenix A. Members of the full IE committee will be invited. If you haven’t already received an invite, please watch your e-mail for an invitation (meeting request) which will be coming early next week. We encourage all IE Committee members to attend in order to welcome new employees from throughout the past year and get them connected with others in the UWGB community.

During our last subcommittee meeting, we talked with Susan Gallagher-Lepak regarding her perspective of campus climate for faculty/staff within her college. Out of that conversation, it was disclosed that there is confusion on the part of faculty and staff regarding when to contact DOS, what support it could provide to them, when HR is a better resource, etc. Because of this, at our next subcommittee meeting on Monday, February 6th, one of our agenda items will be a discussion with Amy Henniges regarding potential creation of a DOS/HR resource for faculty/staff which outlines how those two offices can support employees on campus. We will hopefully have more information about this at the next full IE meeting.
