Celebrating Success at St. David’s Primary School – Congratulations and welcome
I know many of you have been asking about the teachers for next session and who will be taking your child/children’s class. It may look like we’re not telling you and keeping it to ourselves but, from my experience it is best shared when we know all is confirmed and that there will be no further changes afoot.
On this note of changes…firstly, I’d like to congratulate Mrs Hadden on her appointment as Principal Teacher at St. Luke’s Primary School, Mayfield earlier this week. Mrs Hadden will commence her new post in August 2015. I know you will join me in thanking Mrs Hadden for her service to the school and parish community these past two years and wish her every success in her new role. So, Mrs Hadden and Mr Currie’s final day at St. David’s will be Friday 3rd July 2015.
As a result, we welcome to the school a new teacher, Miss Skilling. Miss Skilling will join the school from August 2015. Having visited the school and met with the present P1 children yesterday for a transition visit she is very excited about working with the children and joining the vibrant team at St. David’s. I know you will make Miss Skilling feel very welcome and a real part of the school community of St. David’s!
