BULLETIN NO: 0008

RELEASE DATE: 09.08.2005

MAIN TOPIC: Production Version 09.08.2005

The following items have been corrected or enhanced in this version.

GENERAL CHANGES

§  Warning messages regarding one measured tree for a sample group in a stratum were not appearing in certain situations. The check to capture this was modified and warning messages now appear appropriately.

§  In the Volume Equation window for Region 8, the windows have been modified to include selection of product 08 and associated specifications.

§  Some reports would print garbage when no data was available for that report. The reports have been modified to keep them from printing when no data is available for that report.

§  When defect is totaled and checked for greater than 100%, it was reset to 100. It is now reset to zero when total defect is greater than 100%.

VOLUME CHANGES

§  The Direct Volume Estimator for Region 5 juniper was modified to round to tenth of a cubic foot instead of whole cubic foot.

REPORT CHANGES

§  Stand tables – these reports are setup to print 12 groups per page. When more than 12 groups are present, the first page was not printing. This has been corrected.

§  WT2 – A few minor changes were made to the Species Association window to make editing the associations or the fraction left in the woods easier.

§  R008 – Removed at the request of Region 10.

§  R001/R002 – These reports have been modified at the request of Region 10.

§  L1 – total expansion factor for tree-based methods was using an incorrect acres value. This has been corrected.

DOCUMENTATION CHANGES

§  Citations for the publications used in the WT2 report were added to the documentation.

§  Region 8 Volume Equation windows have been updated.

§  Instructions for Species Association window for report WT2 have been modified for recent changes.
