All Proceeds to benefit Holy Angels and Cystinosis Research Foundation

Please join Kelly McArdle Construction for our ninth annual golf tournament. This tournament is being held on Friday, September 26th at the Tradition Golf Course. Registration and lunch begin at 10:00am with a shotgun start at 12:00. It promises to be a great time for everyone involved.

We also urge you to help the children of the above charities by participating as one of our Corporate Sponsors. Enclosed is both a registration form for participation as a golfer and a corporate sponsorship package. With your help, we can make a significant impact in the lives of these children.

Holy Angels was founded in 1956 by the Sisters of Mercy. The private, nonprofit corporation located in Belmont, NC, provides residential services and innovative programs for children and adults with varying degrees of mental retardation and physical disabilities, some of whom are medically fragile. Children are admitted to Holy Angels without regard to race, sex, or religious beliefs.

Our new charity this year is to support, Holt Grier, an active two year- old from Charlotte, NC, who has been diagnosed with Cystinosis. Half of the proceeds from this year’s tournament will go to the Cystinosis Research Foundation in hopes of finding a cure. Cystinosis is a rare, inherited, metabolic disease that slowly and eventually destroys all major organs of the body including the kidneys, liver, eyes, muscles, bone marrow, thyroid and brain. Holt is one of only 500 in the US and 2000 worldwide to be affected with the disease. Although medication is available to control some of the symptoms of this insidious disease, Cystinosis remains incurable.
