Supply, Handout, & Poster List For
The Strengthening Families Program: For Parents & Youth 10-14
Please Note The Following:
- This supply list includes counts that are based on 12 participating families. It is recommended that 10 participating families be the targeted goal for participation. It is recommended that program participation be limited to a maximum of 12 participating families.
- The supply counts are based on 15 caregivers and 15 youth. Adjust them as necessary based on registration numbers.
- It is recommended that the handouts be printed in a different color for each session. This allows for easier identification and sorting.
- Items in bold are reusable and it is recommended that they be printed on card stock, and possibly laminated, so they can be used for multiple programs.
- The count for name tags is based on the use of adhesive name tags. Another option is to print the name tags and place them in badges, which can then be used repeatedly over the 7 weeks.
- It is suggested that the posters be sorted by Parent, Youth, and Family component and be labeled/numbered on the back. This makes sorting the posters easier after the posters are collected from each completed program.
- This list does not include the supplies needed for family meals, childcare, or transportation. It is strongly recommended that a bin (or rolling cart) be filled with meal supplies, like paper products, sanitizing wipes, tinfoil, plastic bags, serving utensils, etc… It is also recommended that a childcare bin be filled with items such as toys, books, games, coloring materials, and snacks, etc…
- This list is not inclusive of items to be given to participants as incentives. The use of incentives is encouraged, both to motivate participants to attend the first session and to continue until the program’s completion.
- Each facilitator and the arranger will need a complete program manual.
