  1. The Consultant will provide Family Literacy Activities to parents/guardians of students enrolled in the BRYTE Summer Camp as well as to the parents/guardians enrolled in the ELL New Arrival Summer Program. Consultant will assign a trained teacher to provide family literacy instruction to participants.
  1. Provide transportation for BRYTE Summer Camp campers. A licensed employee of the Consultant shall provide DIIRI clients who have been selected to be campers at the BRYTE Summer Camp transportation to and from camp as needed.

In no more than three paragraphs, describe the accountability measures that will ensure that the vendor meets all requirements set forth in the contract and that the district is able to maintain a record of the quality of the services. Performance measures include:

  1. Number of parents/guardians participating in Family Literacy Activities;
  2. Total number of instructional hours facilitated for participants;
  3. Daily attendance;
  4. Administer and analyze results for participant satisfaction survey; and
  5. Any evaluation results, if applicable.
  6. Number of campers safely transported to/from BRYTE Summer Camp daily;
  7. Record of daily drop-offs/pick-ups with times; and
  8. Total number of hours provided in transportation daily broken down by morning and afternoon drop-offs/pick-ups.

In a short numbered list, describe spending breakdown by type of service. Cost basis breakdown:

  1. Family Literacy Activities will be delivered for up to 250 hours at a rate of $20.00 per hour for a total of $5,000
  2. Up to 333 hours of transportation of transportation will be provided at a rate of $15.00 hour for a total of $5,000.

The District agrees to pay the Consultant a fee of $10,000 as compensation for costs incurred. Funding is through DHS/Refugee Impact Grant sub-grant allocation. This amount is inclusive of expenses for materials, supplies, transportation, lodging, meals, and materials for all on-site and off-site planning and preparation.
