Dear Children’s Choir Members and Families,
Children’s Choir rehearses EVERY WEDNESDAY in the Choir Room (lower level Parish Center) unless noted in the calendar. We meet as a combined group from 3:30 to 4:10 pm. and the 5th-8th graders stay until 4:30 to learn advanced parts and instrumental accompaniments. Snow days will follow the D205 decisions. Please let me know of absences as soon as possible by either emailing or calling the Music Office: 630-834-8190. Students may register to be walked after School dismissal to Choir. See attached guidelines.
On days when we sing weekend masses, we will warm-up 30 minutes before mass in the Choir Room and then walk up to take our places in the church. PLEASE BE PROMPT!
Our Choir Dress Code is white shirts or tops and black skirts or slacks. For boys ties are optional. (On Christmas Eve and Easter, for GIRLS any color dresses will be permitted but white sweaters or jackets must still be worn over. Jackets are optional for boys.) Be sure to dress warmly as Church is sometimes very cold. Parents, don’t hesitate to contact Mrs. Masters with any questions or transportation problems.
