- Turn the ignition OFF.
- Move the head-up display (HUD) dimmer switch to the full bright position.
- Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
3 / Does the HUD display 2dashes? / Go to Step4 / Go to Step5
4 / Test the HUD clock circuit for a short to ground, or an open at the instrument panel cluster (IPC).

5 / Test the HUD ground circuit for a short to B+, or an open at the IPC.

6 / Test the HUD data circuit for an open or a short to ground at the IPC.

Front Floor Console Replacement
Removal Procedure
- Apply the park brake.
- Remove the floor console bolts from the sides of the console. Adjust the front seats as required.
- Shift the transaxle to 2.
- Remove the screw from the shift handle. Remove the shift handle.
- Pull upward on the rear of the console assembly in order to release the two vertical fastening clips securing the console assembly to the floor bracket.
- Pull the floor console rearward slightly. Disconnect the electrical connector at the front of the floor console.
- Remove the floor console.
- Remove the wiring harness.
- Remove the HUD switch.
Switch Replacement
Disconnect the electrical connector.
Disengage the retainers.
Press the switch from the bottom out the top of the floor console. Remove the head up display switch.
