POSITION DESCRIPTION
Title: D2D Team Manager, Australia for UNHCRReports to:
F2F Campaign Manager / Positions Reporting to Same Manager:

D2D Frontliners, Senior Frontliners and Team Leaders (D2D)
Purpose: To lead the D2D Team for Australia for UNHCR
Key responsibilities
Leadership
· Drive the growth of the D2D fundraising program to achieve objectives and targets
· Motivate team members to achieve and exceed daily and weekly targets
· Lead by example working with the team to obtain pledges
· Create a fun and positive team environment so that frontliners can work to the best of their abilities
· Monitor team performances and provide support and additional coaching/training where necessary
· Ensure that any serious issues arising from field operations affecting program management are communicated to the Campaign Manager
· Conduct Monthly team meetings, skillshares and outings to help build team morale
Recruitment and Human Resources
· Maintain low turnover of good frontliners
· Conduct Performance Management with the office on a weekly basis
· Active role in training and orientation of new frontliners
· Ensure all team members are briefed on the latest ERT/UNHCR developments as communicated by A4UNHCR
· Train new staff on the street, provide additional ‘on the job’ training and identify any other training needs of team members
· Develop Team Leaders and create opportunities for the team
Field Management
· Locations: Identifying and ongoing evaluation/review of locations in metro city and for travel trips
Ø Managing locations and producing the roster
Ø Management of roster and supply by Wednesday
Ø Ongoing assessment of location situation and recommendations to F2F Manager as required
Ø Providing maps with timesheets indicating what areas have been worked daily
Sales
· Meet the individual daily sign up targets prescribed by A4UNHCR
· Set daily sales targets for team members that will meet the individual sales targets for each team member and in alignment with A4UNHCR F2F monthly targets
· Monitor individual team member performances and provide sales support where necessary
· Undertake sales meeting at the commencement of each shift
· Provide daily reports to the Sydney office on the team’s sales achievements
· Advise A4UNHCR F2F Program Assistants of availability for work
Supervision
· Ensure that the team’s workplace meets OH & S guidelines, including adequate work breaks
· Monitor the hours of work of team members as stipulated by A4UNHCR
Advocacy
· Ensure that all team members are professional advocates for A4UNHCR in their appearance and communications with the public
· Be familiar with and ensure that all team members abide by the Code of Conduct set out in the A4UNHCR Frontliner Employee Handbook and the FIA Standard of Face to Face Fundraising Practice
· Represent A4UNHCR at external meetings or Skillshares as requested by A4UNHCR
Administration
· To collect financial information from new donors ensuring that:
Ø Pledge forms collected by team members are filled out accurately, legibly and completely
Ø Completed pledge forms are kept in a safe place until they are posted to A4UNHCR
Ø Pledge forms, maps and timesheets are sent by ‘Express Post” to A4UNHCR on a daily basis
· Sign off frontliner timesheets ensuring accuracy of the information
· Ensure that team members have adequate supplies of stationery: sign-up forms, welcome packs
· Ensure all materials are kept safely and managed with minimal cost

· Knowledge of and experience in A4UNHCR’s D2D field operations

· Leadership skills / Other Skills & Experience:
· Experience and knowledge of F2F fundraising techniques preferred
· Experience in sales teams
