I heard from "Tony" who runs the Phillip Taylor Kramer website. He tells me that he heard from a partner of Kramers. He said that although the autopsy was inconclusive, the "off the record" word from the cops is that they don't believe that Kramer committed suicide.

Forgive me if this has been posted before. I did a search and turned up nothing.
I heard some time ago that the former drummer for Iron Butterfly after leaving the group started working on plans for time-travel. Apparently while working on these plans, he mysteriously died in what appeared to be a suicide. Some believe that the CIA was given orders to "do away" with him because he had been very close to figuring it out. I tried doing a Google search on this topic to no avail. No helpful information was brought up except some info on Iron Butterfly and an online magazine article that briefly mentions it.
[StealthSkater note: "time-travel" suggests the fabled Montauk Project and Philadelphia Experimentdoc pdf URL as well as "Project Preserve Destiny"doc pdf URLand "Project Looking Glass"doc pdf URL . All of these would involve an end goal of changing a probable outcome without "firing a shot". And certainly anyone that stumbled onto such theory (even if semi-empirical) -- not even mentioning the manufacturing tools to make such devices real and operational -- would come under close surveillance of the "Powers-That-Be".]
THE IRON EQUATION
based on a true story - The Story of Phillip Taylor Kramer
Phillip Taylor Kramer was a scientist. At age 12, he wins a science fair by building a laser powerful enough to pop a balloon.
He became a famous Rock musician, bassets of the band Iron Butterfly witch was the first band in history to go Platinum.
A student of theoretical physics. At Northrop, his work was top-secret involving -- among other things -- the MX missile.
Kramer started a company called Total Multimedia. One investor of Total MultiMedia was Randy Jackson -- the youngest sibling in the musical Jackson family. Taylor owned about 1.7 million shares of stock in Total Multimedia Inc. which he founded in 1990 and had the exclusive worldwide license for fractal video compression. Total Multimedia and IBM had joined together to market each other's related products.
Kramer was an avid reader of the book The Celestine Principle: how "energy fields" and "vibrations" and intuition can affect people and events.
On the weekend of Feb. 12, 1995, one of TMM's directors -- Robert Papalia -- was flying down from Vancouver, B.C. intending to take legal action to oust TMM's CEO Peter Olson. And who was Mr. Olson?
He was vice-president of advanced technology planning for MCI. He was single-handedly responsible for the MCI turn-around. He also spent 26 years with IBM as vice-president of finance.
Another director was coming in from New York. Kramer was supposed to pick him up at the Los Angeles airport that Sunday morning. Instead, he stood the guy up and disappeared. His family has said the ex-rocker had made a key scientific breakthrough shortly before he disappeared off the face of the Earth.
United States Senator Trafficant knew of his work with the MX missile and urged the FBI to fully investigate the national security implications of the disappearance.
As researcher and developer of fractal and light-speed technology and due to his expertise in advanced digital imaging, Taylor was hired just before his disappearance to analyze the authenticity of a video tape that the FBI and the DEA had on the O.J. Simpson murder trial. Strangely, Phillip Talyor Kramer's last words ever spoken before going missing was a 911 call. The call goes as follows.
911: "please state your emergency"
"This is Philip Taylor Kramer."
"Uh-huh. This is 911. Can I help you, Sir?"
"Yes, you can. I'm going to kill myself. And I want everyone to know O.J. Simpson is innocent. They did it."
Taylor's own father said that his son told him if he ever said he was going to commit suicide that it will be a clue warning that someone was after him. Criminal Court Judge Lance Ito's (who presided over the Simpson criminal trial) wife Margaret York is a Los Angeles Police Captain in charge of investigating police corruption. She was in a position to know about the video since she reportedly acted as liaison to the Drug Enforcement Administration.
This Movie is based on the life story and disappearance of the famous rock star scientist.

The mystery of Kramer's death revolves around his work with Total Multimedia Inc.. It hadnothing to do with Iron Butterfly. Kramer did co-found TMM with Randy Jackson by the way. It was previously called The Randy Jackson Entertainment Corporation.
I am trying to get the name of the company's secretary who was found dead within 48 hours of Kramer's disappearance. It should make for an interesting side note (especially how she died). Peter Olson -- a former executive at IBM and MCI -- was president of the company that the time. Olson was a follower of the The Celestine Prophecyand was convinced Kramer was the 10th insight which resulted in all sorts of bizarre events.
There was a radio interview with Kramer's father which he described the meaning behind Kramer's last statement of "I’m going to kill myself. And I want everyone to know O.J. Simpson is innocent. They did it." The interview is replayed occasionally; it would be very interesting to get a transcript.
Kramer's father claimed the O.J. reference is to some business associates who believed that O.J. was innocent (a clue leading to perhaps what happened to Kramer). Also, some people claim Kramer was distraught over Total Multimedia's financial matters. Which is not true. The company was well off because of Olson's MCI links and Kramer was ecstatic over a breakthrough he recently made in his work.
After Kramer's disappearance, all of Total Multimedia's hard drives were wiped clean and according to SEC records MCI entered into a $36 million contract with Iterated (the company that Kramer/TMM was working with to develop fractal video compression).
There is still more. Decker Canyon was searched just after Kramer disappeared which came up empty. His van was pushed over at a laterdate with Kramer in it. The license plates were removed by whomever drove the van to Decker Canyon. The killers pushed the van over the cliff and then realized they forgot to put the plates back on the van. They threw the plates down the canyon after the van which landed some distance away. This obvious clue was never followed up by the police after discover Kramer's bones in 1999.
The police also failed to link the death of TMMI's secretary within 48 hours of Kramer's disappearance. She knew too much!

I do indeed have access to information about what really happened to Taylor Kramer. I know who killed him. It is the same criminal who also killed TMMI's secretary. I will get her name and post it so her death can be verified.
Kramer's O.J. reference was to those who kidnapped him and probably were with him when he made the telephone calls. It is well know who exactly believed O.J. was innocent.
The police didn't do their job on the Kramer case. They failed miserably!

Kramer's idea still lives in the form of "TruDef" which will become the new standard for high-definition video compression.
This technology was 15 years ahead of its time. Only now is hardware fast enough to handle the billions-of-calculations required to make it work.
Everything Kramer said about fractal compression is true!

He did not kill himself but sensed he was a dead man walking with what he disclosed to NASA and the direction he was taking it as well as his struggles internally with genius. It is the nature of great thinkers to be haunted-for if they succeed they accomplish decades or more of progress

TruDef was created from a partnership between Iterated Systems Inc. and Total Multimedia Inc. Michael Barnsley's original fractal compression patents that worked for still images and Taylor Kramer's mathematics enabling faster search process for full-motion video. Without Kramer's work, fractal video compression is basically useless.
Total Multimedia Inc. is carrying on with Kramer's work with full credit to him. Numerous individuals dedicated to Kramer's legacy will make sure that TruDef succeeds. There is no shortage of dark forces out there trying to put TMMI out of business, steal its technology, and even dispute that fractal compression even works! Yes indeed, there are some really sick twisted freaks out there!
Perhaps the FBI will one day reopen Kramer's case. The killer and accomplices still roam the streets!

Some prominent physicists believe that monopole gravity waves propagate any distance in Plank time (5.4x10-44 s).
Perhaps Kramer discovered a mathematical model for detecting gravity waves and even using them for communication which in Plank time would be something like a billion times faster than the speed-of-light. People may think this is crazy nonsense. But read through the research found on Google so far.
A few hundred years ago, it would have sounded crazy to suggest that some animals use infrasound to communicate which is proven today. Gravity waves may very well be proven a reality in the not-too-distant future. Gravity is close to 1040 times weaker than electromagnetic attraction.
Kramer's ideas just might be proven in 2015. The Laser Interferometer Space Antenna (LISA) will be the first dedicated space-based gravitational wave observatory.

There are a few interesting sites that discuss such things as "monopole gravity waves, 5.4x10-44 seconds".
"For many years physicist Gregory Hodowanec in Newark, NJ has been detecting what he refers to as monopole gravity waves. These monopole signals -- unlike the usually detected gravity waves -- are relatively strong and more easily detected. Hodowanec says 'that monopole gravity waves have been detected for many years. It's what we are calling 1/f 'noise' signals, flicker, or background noise...' " [StealthSkater note: could this in any way be related to the mysterious noise that the Montauk Project's Preston Nichols claims he has detected in the Northeast United States =>doc pdf URL ?]
"In Hodowanec's cosmology, the Universe is considered to be a finite, spherical, closed system. Monopole gravity waves propagate any distance in Plank time which is about 5.4x10-44 seconds. Therefore their effects appear everywhere almost instantly. These gravity wave signals are the sum total of the background flux of the Universe, similar to the total summation of the Earth's lightning signals that I observed in New Mexico. Such signals could be a new window into the Universe. They may reveal many aspects not observable with present-day electromagnetic techniques." [link to blog.myspace.com]
Taylor Kramer attempted open communication (i.e., channeling) with extraterrestrial beings as did another electrical engineer Gregory Hodowanec. [link to
As inconceivable as it may seem, have you ever considered what the residual affects of communicating with extraterrestrial beings would be? Can our brains tolerate this type of overload/stress? Could there be residual biochemical or even, organic changes in our brain structure given such stress. Who knows, might this explain the extreme mental stress that Taylor endured close to his death? Perhaps.
Some definitely scoff the minute you mention the word "alien". But Peter Olson proclaimed himself part-alien. Might someone have ventured to silence Taylor's knowledge? What would be the motives of alienbeings on our Planet? If indeedalien beings do exist, coexisting with us and communicating with us from the outer reaches of planet Earth, what would be their goal? We might ask will they coexist with us peacefully without manipulating, altering, or ruling over us. But we already know how violent humans are. So this question is almost seems mute.
[StealthSkater note: reminds me of ELINT Sgt. Dan Sherman and "Project Preserve Destiny" which allegedly used drugs and special computers would maintain ongoing communications with an ET race when a catastrophic event would render all electromagnetic systems useless =>doc pdf URL. Also, none other than the great Nikola Tesla once claimed communications with the planet Mars although it wasn't as "clear cut" as it first sounds => doc pdf URL]

Kramer's idea to improve fractal compression was 18 years ahead of its time. His code is finally running on fast computer hardware. It used to take 30 minutes to fractally-encode a single frame (now just 0.23 seconds) with a much larger resolution frame as well! [link to
Total time to compress 552 1280x960 frame sequence: 127635 ms (4.324833 fps). Note: Encoding time includes hard drive I/O bottleneck.

I predict Kramer's code will end up every HD TV sold in the future. TruDef will become the dominant HD codec. This was Kramer's dream and its coming true!

1600x1216 TruDef frames only 39KB in size! Kramer was a genius! I would like to see his idea demonstrated in the 8,000 pixel range!
TruDef has been tested with the "Magic Hour" sequence of StEM (Standard Evaluation Material) commissioned by DCI (Digital Cinema Initiative) for purposes of quality analysis of video compression codecs. This footage contains a number of elements such as complex motion, film graining, and color variations that are a better test of a video codec's capabilities.
TruDef was tested by cropping out 1600x1216 sections of the original 4096x1714 uncompressed RGB 4:4:4 24fps StEM footage providing 1.95 megapixel resolution which compressed in the 8-9mbps range.
4 test clips were made each containing 98 frames with a total file size of 15.4MB. The average 1600x1216 frame size is 39KB.
