Discussion regarding any trees that will be removed & Engineer commented that only small shrub trees on Koska’s property
Engineer discussed current plans for the road,drove to public access & discussed plans
& answered questions

Discussion on road design & impacts on trees
Road follows topography which is not necessarily in Right of Way

Engineer described curbing & height adjustment – trying for 20 MPH design

Overview of process for tonight’s meeting
Discussed the obtaining of temporary & permanent easements
-Fisher Road has received all easements signed
-Cooley Drive will not be addressed at this meeting as will go with existing easements
-White Pine Road has all easements signed with the exception of 2 residents
-N Platte Lake Road has all easements signed with the exception of 4 residents
Board needs to move forward & not wait any further for obtaining the remaining easements

Discussed White Pine Road – State Park Road Improvement Grant
Funding for the paving of this road from the State
Just received work last Friday that Township will receive the additional funds that were requested
Discussed N Platte Lake Road
Road will be paved from #8 for 1.1 miles on N Platte
Many problems with road – issues with gravel & water
Wetland permits will be needed – attending meeting tomorrow with County
Comments from affected Owners
George Winiecki
They have agreed with the Board & Darrick’s plans & have signed the agreement
Concern about the water issues & wants to be guaranteed the proposed road design will take care of these issues
Realizes that his 2nd lot is low & retains water – this is not a problem with the road
Mike Haehn
He has the most to lose – losing numerous trees & adding water to his property
Zero interest in signing a permanent easement
His property will lose value with this road project
Engineer discussed & showed drawing of Mike’s property
Many of the trees being removed is in the current ROW
Discussion of saving trees & if not possible to save, possibility of replacing trees
Residents not impacted asked questions on solving problems on N Platte, question on driveways & approaches
Resident inquired if temporary easements will become permanent – there is an end date on all temporary easements

Troy explained how the damages were figured
Recommendation that Board would pay for temporary & permanent easement on N Platte
Troy inquired if Mike Haehn would give value of his property after trees removed & if he had a value in mind for damages & he doesn’t have any idea
Discussion of some easements coming in of people not present at meeting
Discussion on end date for signed documents – if not received by Saturday midnight,
Clerk to send awards out Monday
Jeff made motion to accept the Resolution adding section on shrubs & trees (i & 3), also adding the following amounts – Gullickson ($85.61), Koska ($484.68), Haehn ($687.10),
Haehn./Kraft ($96.68), & Glasgow (@1,010.59), 2nd by Dan
Jeff & Dan in favor, Rick voted NO, Motion carried
George Winiecki wants damage award for his easements, Troy informed him that he would not be awarded for temporary, only his permanent easement
Jeff amended the motion for the Resolution to reflect Winiecki ($1,658.90), 2nd by Dan,
Jeff & Dan in favor, Rick voted NO, Motion carried
Dan made motion to close the Hearing, 2nd by Jeff, all in favor
