2016-2017

Dear Parents/Carers,

Please put these dates in your diary. These are the key dates for the year. You will be given more detailed information about these events and how you can support your child during the year via the head teacher’s newsletter, information on the website, letters from teachers and the school office and texts.We will send you reminder before an event and hope that you will feel well informed and hope that you find this annual calendar useful.

Autumn 1

  • Thursday22nd September 3.30pm 5pm– Parent’s Drop In Evening. Class teacher’s information session for parents. An opportunity to come in and meet your child’s new teacher, find out about topics etc. Class teachers will be available until 5pm.
  • Friday 30th September – Macmillan Coffee Afternoon at 3.20pm
  • Monday 3rd October – start of Black History Month
  • Wednesday 5th October – Y2 trip to Stockport
  • Friday 7thOctober – Olympic Athlete visiting school
  • Friday 7th October – FOHGPS Christmas Fair Planning meeting at 2.30pm
  • Thursday 13th October - Parents Consultation Meetings in the school Hall - 1.40pm till 7.30 p.m.
  • Friday 14th October – FOHGPS Rainbow Gift Day – non uniform day
  • Monday 17 October - Great British Cultures Week
  • Friday 21st October – 9.30 am Harvest Festival at the Baptist Church. Please send in food donations which we will be donating to the Wellspring Trust
  • FOHGPS – Autumn Disco 19th October
  • Friday 21st October –Break for HALF TERM

Autumn 2

  • Friday 17th February SHINE assembly at 9.15 a.m. for Early Years and KS1 & at 2.30 pm for KS2 - families invited
