Tipton Youth Soccer Club

Welcome to another exciting season of soccer! The Club is looking forward to working with and coaching your child. Parent participation is encouraged and necessary to keep the league running and makes it a true family sport! Please read below for important information regarding playing with the Club this season.

What the Registration Fee Covers

Team jersey, Black shorts and Soccer socks. Fees also cover field equipment, field maintenance, referee fees, season end trophies and other miscellaneous items to assist the club in operation costs.

Parent/Player Responsibiity

Every player will be responsible for providing the following: 1. Shin Guards (MUST be worn at every practice and game, otherwise player will be sidelined); 2. Soccer Ball (U6 & U8: size 3; U10 & U12: size 4; U14: size 5); 3. Soccer Cleats or Tennis Shoes for practice and games (football or baseball/softball cleats are NOT permitted due to increase in injury); 4. Water or Water Bottle at practice and games.

Games & Practices

Once Registration is complete, each player will be assigned to an age appropriate team by blind draw. Parents for U6-U10 will be contacted ON OR AFTER AUGUST 8th by the team coach to relay practice days and times, for U12-U14 parents will be contacted ON OR AFTER AUGUST 8th. Coaches can only hold 2 practices per week and practices can last no longer than 1 hour for U6-U10 and no longer than 1.5 hours for U12-U14. Practices cannot begin before August 13th for U6-U10, and not before August 13th for U12-U14. Games will begin Sunday, September 9th in the afternoon and run for the next 5 Sundays in the afternoon. Season end Tourney for U6-U10 will be the weekend of October 13th (please see Rec Plus Acknowledgement for U12-U14 schedule). All games and practices are held at the Soccer fields located at 620 S. 550 W. in Tipton County.
