Scholarship Application

Criteria for selection of scholarship recipients

Criteria includes academic record, financial need, extracurricular activities, community service, intent to attend a university/technical school or enter chosen career field; completion of the recommendation form from an MTC teacher.

Scholarship Checklist

Complete the checklist for scholarship consideration.

The complete application is available online at School Counseling/Scholarships.

Inform your Monroe teacher that you are applying for a scholarship and ask for his/her recommendation on your behalf.

Complete the essay question.

Complete the Financial Statement form. This is the same Financial Statement form used by all of the high schools in Loudoun County.

Attach letter(s) of acceptance to technical schools and/or universities.

Make a copy of the application materials for your records.

Submit the completed application packet to the Monroe School Counseling Office by Monday, April 3, 2017
