About Us
The Drugs and Therapeutics Safety Committee (D&TSC) is a multidisciplinary committee of Sligo General Hospital (SGH). The D&TSC has produced a number of guidelines and policies for medication-use in SGH which can be viewed on QPulse. Some of the documents are hospital policy, however, the guidelines are not intended to dictate individual patient management or drug treatment, but rather assist the decision-making process and are based on clinical evidence and the opinions of specialists in relevant areas.
The D&TSC acknowledges the contribution of all SGH staff involved in the production of the guidelines and policies. Any queries / correspondence regarding the guidelines and policies should be directed to the chairperson of the D&TSC, Dr. D. Murray. Feedback on the guidelines and policies is always welcome. Guidelines are accessible through Qpulse.
