Position Purpose
The Aide to the Chief Justice is responsible for performing a wide range of personal, administrative and clerical functions, including driving the Chief Justice as required
Key Accountabilities
· Act as personal and confidential attendant to the Chief Justice in accordance with the Chief Justice’s directions.
· Perform a range of duties for the Chief Justice and other members of the chambers, including general administrative and clerical duties such as photocopying, assistance with errands, the delivery of documents and correspondence, noting up and amending the Chief Justice’s personal library; assisting with the preparation and coordination of functions and other meetings.
· Perform driving duties for the Chief Justice as required and arranging the regular servicing, cleaning and maintenance of the Chief Justice’s car.
· Perform keyboard and associated duties as required by the Chief Justice or other members of the Chief Justice’s staff.
· Receive visitors using tact and discretion.
· Other duties as directed by the Chief Justice or other members of the Chief Justice’s staff
Qualifications/Technical Expertise
· Appointee must hold a full driver’s license that is current and clean

About the Supreme Court of Victoria
The Supreme Court of Victoria (the Court) is the highest court in Victoria and comprises the Court of Appeal and the Trial Division. The Court deals with major criminal and civil matters, plus appeals against decisions of lower courts.
